barring the arsenal match, which was kind of all over the place, as we also played against 9 men as well, we have kept a total of 3 clean sheets so far this season. and guess which defender was not involved in any of these matches? .

I would like to come on and say to you beautiful Chelsea fans. Thank you! Thank you for that wonderful keeper that is petr cech. Some player that boy. I do believe that he's the reason you won the champs leauge and the reason we are still in it! Praise the sun.

He was incredible when we won the champions league. He seemed like a penalty specialist, went the right way for every penalty in the final as well as saving one (at least) and putting Messi off on the way. Great keeper and club legend, I was sad to see him go especially to a London rival.

Full of application. He makes the difference.

He's a world class keeper :-) Glad he did well last night, as I hope you can qualify for the next round. It'll be hard (for us as well, though a bit easier) but you can make it. Good luck!

Think we've played great first half. Hazard and Matic have been very impressive. And I don't see how Fabregas can't play no.10 he's better there than deeper for me. Brings him closer to Hazard and Diego.

Much better performance by all the players, with defense far more solid. Standouts: Dave (Azi) a star as usual; Matic looked like being back close to being the player he was last season; Willian continues to cover acres of ground and be a threat, Ramires also excellent. Hazard and Fabregas better, but we still lacked real cut and thrust up front/on counter though were the two that hit woodwork and good penalty shout.

JBS: Totally agree and there were good signs for future league matches. Fabregas is a different player playing well forward but to keep him there we need Costa scoring and at least someone else that poses a goal threat every time they get the ball. The defence finally looked solid and nobody was having to cover on the right and getting dragged out of position; that said I do not see Zouma as a right back.

Guys,

I did not mean to bring up any argument regard to the job status of Mourinho.

I just want to ask you guys for the coach who want to lead Chelsea after Mou era, your next dream coach - the coach you feel impressive with the playing style and whatever.

Personally, I think Pep is unimpressive. He also worsen the team that Jupp Heynckes built. I prefer Joachim Low, how about you guys?

I think Simeone would be pretty awesome and would be my favourite to become our manager. I also quite like Blanc although he hasn't had much competition in the French league. I want to see us stick with Jose however.

Actually I am leaning towards mourihno out campaign!

Just think have you ever thought of playing second (if not third rated) team in champions. league and be scared to lose?

Rui Faria to take over from Mourinho in 15 years or so ;-)

Great question, and I hope there to be another great manager around by the time mourinho leaves and I would want a team playing like bayern do now, but not Pep.

I love Jose for what he's achieved at Chelsea but the football we play is awful. I would like someone like guardiola who only knows how to attack and bring a good style of football.

Peps obviously a great manager but he'd only be here for two or three years.

Bit left field, but Unai Emery has done a very good job at Sevilla.

Team to play Dynamo Kiev: Begovic, Zouma, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Matic, Willian, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa.

Subs: Blackman, Baba, Mikel, Oscar, Traore, Kenedy, Falcao.

I wasn't around the weekend . can someone tell me if RLC got injured and that's why he got taken off at half time and not in tonight's squad.

RLC did not appear to get injured and JM said it was tactical; I thought he played fairly well although he can get caught ball watching. JM has torn him off a strip again and said he must work harder although that applies to most of them currently. Poor Azi he must be getting dizzy going from one side to the other. Defence looks solid, not a Ramires fan myself and I would have preferred Oscar to Fabregas as he is slowly proving a waste of money.

I would like to think that the reason he isn't in the squad tonight is so that he can be fresh for the weekend, you never know with Jose though! Overall I'm pretty happy with the team tonight though, hopefully its a 4-3-3 rather than Cesc playing as a no.10 or (God forbid) Matic and Cesc holding with Ramires on the right wing! Would've liked Baba to get some more time though! Hope to see Kennedy get some time off the bench.

Really not sure about Zouma at RB. Quite like the midfield 3, although Fabregas is still way off form.

21 Oct 2015 05:11:55
we have the players, I see a change in momentum . we just need a string of 3-4 wins under our belt and we are good. I also see that rotating the midfield is making the team fresh and less predictable which is a plus considering all teams ready to read our play from minute one

i hope to have a better striker than Falcoa and Remy . its imperative to have 2 good strikers in the mold of Costa

a little more patience and we will b back to winning ways
onwards and upwards . go chelsea

Keep the faith my friends . Keep the faith.

{Ed001's Note - does anyone really think Chelsea will not get it together and push back into the top 4 by the end of the season?}

21 Oct 2015 06:42:51
I think arsenal, city and Utd will be top 3 (not in order) . My fear is that Liverpool sort themselves out under klopp and take 4th.
