Agree. At today's rate 30m for a player that will be one of the best players in the world at his position for the next 10+ years and is homegrown is a steal. It's really a no brainer to me.

Can anyone identify why Cech has declined so much in regards to crossing and set pieces? So undecidd, constantly stuttering and moving forward and back, his positioning is dreadful.
He is still a great leader and shot stopper, glad Courtois is coming next season.

Haha I know. But still, 18 great minutes and the rest was below average. Maybe he shouldn't be playing wide but down middle.
Who cares what he does the rest of the game if he scores 3 goals and Chelsea win 3-1? He has some work to do on the defensive side of his game but give him more playing time and he will show what he can do.

Like I said 18 brilliant minutes but the rest of his game he wasn't near good enough, I'll always get behind out players but calm yourselves down Fulham are bottom if the league, I agree that with more games playing more central he will improve but when it comes to this big games Willian will get the nod for his all round game.
Ye but why was he 'nowhere near good enough'? To be honest I think every player was average outside that period - bit harsh just to pick on Schurrle!

Hey guys first time posting but have read this site for about two or so years now and I don't really want to start on a negative, but that has to be one of the worst halves of football I have seen Chelsea play this season. I know they may be tired, but they look lazy and disinterested. I don't see the hype about Shurrle either, maybe with a run of games he might lift his game, but after that half, Willian any day for me. Anyways guys, look forward to posting regularly from now on and let's hope the boys can lift for the second half because they can't really get much worse.
