ED002 anything changed over any player that we are interested in? {Ed002's Note - Not in the past few minutes.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

ED002 is it just a new striker and a essien replacement being looked at,at this time? {Ed002's Note - A striker is the priority.}

ED has nothing changed regarding falcao?

ED Huntelaar's name seems to be linked a lot recently any interest? {Ed061's Note - No.}

Manchester United's David Gill has been made a vice chairman of The FA (Fergie Association) following a council meeting. He replaces Sir Dave Richards who is leaving the role and The FA have been trying for some time to get David Gill more involved. Gill has been an FA board member for six years and will continue his role as Manchester United chief executive. Hewill work under chairman David Bernstein atThe FA. Wht do u make of this?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Howard Webb will be happy..
Marley

Agree3 Disagree0

This will make no difference to the FA's (farcical association) approach to Man Utd. They have always had preferential treatment as they are seen to be the flag bearers for english football. Unfortunatley for the rest of the teams this doesn't look like changing anytime soon, especially with Gill in his new role, so we can look forward to more 'fergie time' and dubious decisions at Old Trafford

Ed, how come our shirt sales exceeded those of Arsenal and Liverpool, granted they both have more fans than us? Tanx.

Oh sorry, I would have thought in error that a club with a crowd of fans will naturally make a difference in terms of merchandise.

Agree1 Disagree0

It's due to all the plastic glory hunters who have suddenly discovered they support Chelsea. They'll be moving on to Man City shortly.

Hey Ed002 been a while hope all is well few questions for you when time allows.

1.Was reading a report this morning that Robbie is refusing to answer whether Terry is still our club captin,i would imagine not (although i personally hope he is) otherwise i would of thought Robbie would of said yes he is straight away without any need for mysetery was just wondering if you have heard anything and if there is any truth to this who would a possible future captin be i mean ideally you would pick Frank next but with him proberly moving on in the new year its proberly going to be one of the new boys should the rumour even be true. ?

2.i understand jan is a long way off but im under the impression talks between Athletico Madrid and ourselves have already taken place, was this just an enquiry or is there a little more to it,has it now looks has though real madrid are very intrested and city are still lingering.

3.I no some people feel has though Mikel has somewhat improed over last 2 seasons but he's time with us is surley coming to an end he is not good enough to play that role in the style of football we are now playing at chelsea yes he wins the balls a lot but 9/10 only to hand it straight back and his passing ability is dreadfull,do you no if David luiz has ever been considered has DM to fill that gap,or will chelsea be looking to bring somone in to replace Mikel come jan or net summer i.e the likes of Fellani or Fernando would suit.

4.Im aware Marko Marin is fit and avalible but weve yet to see him in a cup or league game i understand that the team is generally in good form all across the pitch at the moment,but when we have needed width in games Robbie has only choose to bring on Moses (great signing).Why not Marin are you aware of any behind the seens bust ups ? because if were all honest in the pre season Marin was the player who mostly stood out just seems a little strange we have yet to see him in a chelsea shirt in the league.

5.I should proberly no this but Thorgan Hazard are you or anyone else aware of the team he has gone to and was it a perminant deal or a loan deal ? has if it was a loan deal id liek to try and get the opertunity to watch him apperently his style is diffrent to edens and he prefers the holding role maybe one for the future there maybe.

Anywyas thanks for taking the time ED as always its appreciated.

Hopefully we get a good win at spurs set us up for our night in ukraine Come on Chels.
Carefreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

BlueBen {Ed061's Note -1) Terry is still captain. 2) there has been contact between Chelsea and AM, still far too early to speculate on a Jan move. 3) Fernando has been monitored for some time but a January move is unlikely. 4) Marin has had a few set backs but should be fit and available. 5) it was a loan deal to a team in the Dutch league I believe, regular posters will be able to clear that up.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Thor is playing for Zulte Waregem i think off the top of my head. Correct me if wrong.
Marley

Agree2 Disagree0

Zulte Wargrem of Belgium and Thorgan doesnt play the holding role he is an attack minded player.

Dan1CFC

Agree1 Disagree0

I do not think we need Fellani type player in pivot.......
yes he is doing good job at everton but he is playing as an attacking player in everton team......
about fernando saw him just couple of times....
looked decent but was not impressive......
i have not watched him more......
but again i feel doubt about his ability.....
as he is already 25+yrs old if he is so good then he would have got brazil international team debut.........
i saw poulinho for last couple of games n he looks good enough to play for us in pivot role......
i would prefer poulinho alongside ramires....
both can establish strong pivot partnership for us........

we won the uefa cups and the fa cups...thats what brought roman to us...we were a team on the rise...
i am not ashamed of roman because he is true follower of the club. unlike many others, we do have a owner that loves the club and treats it that way and not a business or a profit making venture...

to everyone who loathe our spending.....we have only like 15-20m debt as of 2012...thats what roman did !!

taby

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Yeah, Roman was sat in Moscow as a Chelasea fan cheering the team on. Not like he looked at any other clubs 1st... Get real, well done on having a billionaire in charge but don't try and pretend he gave a toss before he got involved.

ANSWER-ASHLEY COLE :-P

BILLY

Why apologise when, in all likelihood, rather, it's set I stone that baines is next in line then when baines goes THEN it's Gibbs' turn. You must be a young kid me thinks billy. Pardon the pun {Ed061's Note - Bertrand is certainly preferred over Gibbs mate. But yes Baines is next in line.}

UK left back, what is that meant to mean? Cole is left back for England. Not UK, I know the Olympics might have confused some people but I'm pretty sure Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales still have separate teams.

Saw all the arguments between Chelsea and Everton fans on both sites, what's going on!? Have some banter lads but don't get personal haha!
I am a Everton fan. I think we all get carried away from time to time don't we! My opinion on the matter of Baines/Cole is that for 10 years Cole has been the best left back in the world.
In the last 18 months- 2 years at club level Baines out performs Cole in every aspect most weeks but on the International front I would still go with Cole at left back in the big games, you can probably trust Cole to do his job slightly more than Baines at the moment.
When it comes down to it, as England fans we should be proud that we have 2 world class full backs and we should be relieved that when Cole retires from internationals which could be next year or after the world cup in 2 years, we have a world class replacement in Baines who will still only be 29 and will have gained 2 more years experience at international level.
Simples!! Argument over..... Weekend is here, Premiership football is back. We can all calm down and watch our two BLUE clubs entertain. Chelsea for the league title so I can laugh at the two Manchester clubs and Everton for 4th place!!!!! (Oh, and by the way leave our ed025 alone, he is a legend and loves the toffee men)

Cheers

MikeTheBlue {Ed061's Note - Great post Mike, I would love you boys to come 4th! Ed025 is a very nice man, just forgets to take his meds some days :-)}

The most objective post I've read in a while. All this rivalry is bcos of Cole and Baines. Both are great, but Cole has been greater and deserves respect; he's never been flop, though anyone can have a bad game. Nothing against Everton really, hope u make the Top 4, together with us.

Ed061, stop referring to us as bitters. You have no argument. By your rationale, any person who criticises your ridiculous spending is just bitter. No, they are just pointing out that what you have done is not that great. Everything you have is because of one man. It's nothing to do with your support or anything related to Chelsea FC. It is because of a Russian billionaire. How many players have u produced since John Terry? You havnt even tried to do things the right way. I couldn't care less you spend obscene amounts of money. What gets me going is the bragging I have to listen to from you people. As if u have done something special. Well you haven't. For someone to post on our site, keep Fellaini warm for us, just shows your mentality. Yes we will, and you can pay 30m for him too. {Ed061's Note - Mate bitters is the nick name you have, due to the Liverpool success. If you saw what some of you lot were calling me all night last night you would understand why I was a little angry. I don't know how many times I have to say I respect Everton and the way they go about it. But you guys just keep bringing up Roman like its something we should be ashamed of. We are not and will not ever apoligise for something we had no control over. Before he came we won 2 or 3 FA Cups in like 8 years, we were not as rubbish as you lot claim. Since he has been here we have of course achieved more than if he wasn't, but how is that the fans fault?}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Dude what is more special than winning which is the reason the game is played?

Being a farm team that raises players to sell off or being a cheap profit hungry club of mostly 2nd tier players who wins once in awhile but who is not serious about competing for all big trophies?

Is Chelsea the only high spending club in the world?

Is it not a fact that nearly all of the bigger most successful clubs in the world spend a lot?

Jog back to ur site.

A message to Mr Osgood, the pond life who has been filling our (EFC) site with his nasty disrespectful filth. Firstly, I actually like Chelsea. I supported you like my own team in the Champs League last year. But I worry that this person is not alone in his views about our club. To be honest I'm not sure what we have done to get such abuse from all corners. Maybe people don't like our history or better yet, the fact we still compete when the teams above us have to spend millions and millions. As fans we don't expect to win the league, or even a cup. We have low expectations so that can't be it. So I ask, what is it about everton that you detest so much? Because the stuff posted on our site is pure hate. It's not banter. {Ed061's Note - mate give it a rest. Chelsea fans far from detest you. It's a two way street, if you saw the downright abusive posts I deleted from your fans on here, you would be disgusted with your own fans. They said far worse than Osgood. I love Everton and genuinely wish you the best for the year.}

KiwiRed {Ed061's Note - The MEN on here can't be bothered dealing with those BOYS. We feel bad, they are starting to sound like Liverpool fans. Bringing up the past and what not. I think we on here are more concerned with winning the title this year, not hoping to qualify for Europa.}

And stop with the everton-Chelsea feud ( or watever

Totenham and AVB haha no, the clash with
Totenham will be tricky and RDM NEEDS to get the selection right and put rami-ROMEU in pivot and lampard on
