Use our rumours form to send us chelsea transfer rumours.

One player I would have loved us to sign last summer was Dybala. He scored again tonight and he's a fantastic player. A striker who can dribble and score goals. I don't see the fascination with these target men.

He was definitely close to the top of my wish list.

Fabregas performance this season is the main reason why we are not clinical like last season. But I wouldn't blame his poor form since he played very well for Spain.
IMO our tactical approach and players positioning on the pitch are the main reasons regarding our season till now.
Chelsea performance against Porto was absolutely the best one in last nine months and that is encouraging.
I have high hopes that we will beat Leicester.

We have a lot of 'who would you buy' comments but if RA said to JM (which he may do) "you need to cull three first team squad players to realise cash to swell our transfer pot this summer", who would you want to sell?

Mikel, Oscar and Willian. The Willian mention will probably be shot to spreads but he is 27 and has still only scored 1 goal from open play this year. I think his value would be high and we could hopefully replace him with a player that contributes more goals and assists.

Spearce96: You certainly got the ball rolling there with Willian. Not sure Mikel would generate a great return. I would sell Oscar (too much promise and not enough delivery now), Costa (too much of a liability for little return) and Pedro (should never have bought him in the first place) .

Honestly Costa fabregas and Oscar. I have no idea what has happened to fabregas this calendar year but i'd get him off o the books while he is still worth something. Costa will be worth a lot and I feel we need a player with arguably better technical ability leading the line to help link the play with hazard and Willian and co. Oscar you could sell for a fair chunk and may develop into a world beater but I feel there are better players that you could sign from the money gained by selling him.

If Jose is still in charge then fabregas, Oscar and maybe Costa should raise enough funds to bring in quality players and not just promising ones. Griezman to replace cesc, cavani or aubameyang to replace Costa. Oscar plus £60m for pogba. Maybe no chance on the players mentioned but there the type of players that can get us to the next level.

I came close to Fabregas but settled for Pedro because I don't think he really offers anything whereas "on his day" and they are getting rarer as the season goes on, Fabregas can deliver but I would not be sorry to see him go. Regarding Cavani; I would have preferred him to Costa at the time because he offers an aerial threat which we lack.

I think the beauty of this question is you're forced to choose players who would demand a return. I'll start with Fabregas, his game just isn't suited to the way modern football is played. Oscars my second as we have been waiting seemingly for 2 years for him to take the next step but he never has. Granted I think if he were to play in the right system in a league like Spain I think he'd do great. For me the last one has to be Pedro. Didn't like the signing at the time and he's done nothing since to make me question those thoughts.

The problem is we have good players who, in other teams or with a different manager would be great players. The system Jose likes to play is not suited to our current squad. What the club and us as fans need to give Jose the time and support he needs to change this. The only thing that annoys me with Jose is the lack of playing time for the younger players like loftus cheek etc. We have players who could generate enough funds for new players like cesc, Costa, Ramires, mikel, remy to name a few. 2-3 top quality signings and where good to go.

I feel two are obvious fabregas, he offers very little and constantly slows the play and offers nothing in defence.
Second one is Oscar who is ok but never seems to quite do it and I feel he is a little light weight.
The third would have been costa, but seeing friendly exchange between him jm, when he came off was better.
My concern was not the way this person is playing, but when he was subbed the reaction to jm offering his hand appeared very frosty. That was hazard. There just seems to me to be something going on between him and Jose.

Mine would be hazard 80 mill maybe for a player that's petrified to shoot amazing to 18 yard line then a aimless pass very hard decision
2nd ivanovic love this guy but past his very best maybe 8 to 10 mill
3rd Oscar can't really see his purpose tries hard but other than his wonder goal against juve what has he offered my opinion thanks.

Costa. He's good, but I want someone like Aguero leading the line. Dybala would be my choice, and I wouldn't mind Cavani!

Fabregas; only if we could get 25 + million for him. Replace with Gomes

Pedro; didn't like the signing in the first place. Replace with who we have! traore!

I see hazard heading to Madrid in a huge transfer he doesn't look happy and he's not playing well I still feel Madrid will sense that and throw huge money at Chelsea and try to turn hazards head. My 3 out would be definetly mikel Oscar pedro.
