anyone watching fa youth cup. chelsea vs liverpool?

Saw most of the game and was very impressed, some very promising players in there. Corneilsenn looks a class act at the back.

Again, I thought Loftus Cheek, Baker, Boga and Feruz all looked good, not to mention the some others, could see some perhaps break into the Squad in the coming years, also took a nice 2-0 lead to the bridge. Future looks bright.

I don't understand why everyone keeps saying we need to get 4th, when 3rd is what we can actually get and should aim for. I think we will draw to City and lose on pens, and win Europa Cup & finish 3rd

Jesus and this is worth posting. People are referring to get in top four.

Everyone keeps saying we need to get at least top 4, not 4th. But even then we have the toughest run in out of us, spurs and arsenal. Not to mention playing more games than them. Then finally Rafa. He seemingly wants a trophy and you don't get one for 4th regardless what Arsene says. Which leads to weakened teams in the PL.

Also if we progress in both cup competitions we'll have 11 games til the end of the season, almost double Arsenal and Tottenham who have 6.

We've been playing the weakened team in Europe, not the league

If your talking about the game in mid-week. We'd all but qualified before the game and so there was no need to field a strong line-up.

Torres doing ok but damage is done for me for all the times I've seen him with his hands on his hips being lazy and sulking. Still hope he goes in summer

He is good with the mask. Without is a different story. If he can finish the season in the same form as he is currently playing, I would be happy. We must remember he is on 19 goals this season, it isn't spectacular but its a hell of a lot better than the last 2 seasons.

Torres is on 20, just 3 less than RVP in all competitions. I'm not sure how many both Falcao and Cavani have scored each. The reason why I wouldn't want another 50m pounds on a striker is the pressure.

Falcao has already moved for big money and has had no known injury problems unlike Torres did before we signed him.

How many has Torres in the prem? Not many me think.

Whilst Torres has never rediscovered his blistering form at liverpool, his goals tally this season (in all comps) is above average. In fact if RVP fails to score in his next Utd match he will EQUAL Torres longest ever run without scoring at Chelsea. Food for thought, it's an interesting comparitive.

Falcao has scored 22 in La liga and 28 in total. Cavani has scored 22 in Serie A and 31 in total. Torres has scored 7 in PL and 19 in total.

Just wanted to know your opinion on Terry recently.

In my opinion Terry is looking more and more like a liability out there, sad to say it but when he is on that team sheet I am concerned. Honestly cannot remember the last time I saw him play and thought he was playing well.
The further into the season we go the more important the games are becoming and TBH the less I want to see Terry on the team sheet, against the likes of Man City, United, Liverpool, Benfica and Basel he will be found out as he was tonight, could cost us a trophy potentially.

I want HUMMELS or subotic to replace him

Hummels is incredibly overrated! Not a natural defender like we need. He is a good passer for a CB though I give you that. The fact that Santana starts over him though tells the whole story really.
There are cheaper and better options out there.

Santana started because Hummels is injured at the moment. Don't even joke about him not being a natural CB. He's plays almost entirely instinctively as well as having amazing technique in the tackle and having the ability to read the game really well. I assume you think he's not a natural CB because his second position on fifa is defensive midfield? There are some real jokers on this site.

No, incorrect. I have probably watched Hummels more than you by the sounds of it. You obviously think that he is great player cause on Fifa he has a good overall.? I know that his position is CB but by 'natural' I meant that his first instinct isn't to defend. I can also tell you that whatever you may think Hummels has been dropped much more this season compared to last, and let's be honest Santana isn't a great player. Due to all the unjustified hype he will probably command an enormous fee plus wages where there are far better options out there.
