I know this is not realistic well if we were in the top 4 it could be but does anyone think a midfield three of Pogba, Mikel/ Matic and Loftus-Cheek would work well together or is there too many presences and not enough creativity?

Loftus- cheek? Haha no way. Doubt he'll be good enough to play regularly for the first team. Mikel/ Matic could still do a job. Mikel over Matic at the moment though.

I have to say I was actually pretty impressed with Mikel against Utd especially when we were chasing the game in the final 10 minutes. Granted he didn't do anything spectacular but he seemed to be in the right positions to collect their wild clearances and to offer short passes to recycle the ball.

Would take mata or KFB over oscar any day. If those 2 I would prefer Mata.

I still think a lot of Matas acclaim comes from him being such a nice human and what he accomplished in one season playing in a role with zero defensive responsibilities. If I were to rank those players I would go hazard, KDB, Oscar, and Mata. And once again I will remind everyone when this topic comes up monthly that when KDB and Lukaku were sold everyone hailed the business as our club doing a good job of making big profits on players with limited roles.

Mata was our best player by miles in both seasons. He created chances, scored goals and dictated the play.

Do you remember how well we played when we had oscar/ Mata/ hazard as pur attacking trio.

I am not sad about letting Lukaku or KDB go but mata was quality and our current team really misses him right now.
