I don't know what everyone's problem is we are 5 points clear of the bottom 3 we're be safe.

Love the positivity 😛.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if we lose to just say we wasn't good enough I'm board of blaming the refs linesman ect, what ever the score I think Liverpool have been better than us.

Cata

1.) 31 Oct 2015 14:27:24
That's what I have beer trying to say for weeks now!

2.) 31 Oct 2015 14:33:58
Honestly before their second goal, Liverpool were not better than us. Yes they dominated possession but rarely created anything that worried us. Have we played well? No, far from it. Has the referee decisions had a massive impact on the game? Yes.

At least 2 Liverpool players deserved yellow cards in the first half and didn't get them. The ref then end ups adding around 4 mins of extra time in the first half in the end instead of the 2. And finally, he fails to send Lucas off. If the ref had made the correct calls, we wouldn't be losing right now.

3.) 31 Oct 2015 14:39:59
Just leave the ref alone.

4.) 31 Oct 2015 14:41:05
Leave it out, Fuser - Liverpool had 82% possession at 30 minutes! We were out-played - embarrassing.

5.) 31 Oct 2015 14:44:30
So what? They had that in their title challenging season against us and they lost that match.

6.) 31 Oct 2015 15:46:57
Just accept we were out-played - if we keep making excuses, the ref, the linesman, Costa forgot his lucky frog, the coach driver got lost on the way, the videos went missing etc etc etc, nothing will ever change.

7.) 31 Oct 2015 19:57:47
I do accept we were out played. I said we were poor. But just because we were poor, it doesn't diminish the effect the woeful refereeing had on the game. I don't blame the ref for us playing rubbish football.
Honestly I'm fed up of slamming poor referee decisions. But they happen every single game. And if you don't think that it doesn't have an effect on the players then you're on another planet. What player is going to want to go out there knowing the game will be decided by the referee. Or knowing if they're fouled the opposition won't be carded.

{Ed001's Note - so would that not be the same for Costa? In any other game his kick on Skrtel would have been an immediate red, yet it didn't stop the Liverpool players or affect their attitude. So why is it different for Chelsea players?}

8.) 31 Oct 2015 20:48:39
That depends on whether Clattenberg saw the kick or not. If he saw it and didn't give anything then I agree that he'd have been sent off in any other game. If Clattenberg didn't see, it then in any other game it's likely the ref wouldn't have seen it either and therefore he still wouldn't have been sent off.
You're talking about a solitary decision that went in our favour, which one could argue wasn't even a decision if the ref didn't see it. The reason it's different is because there have been 3/4 major decisions pretty much every single game that have been poor. They're not even 50-50 decisions but pretty much cut and dry situations where the decision has gone against us.
Lucas had committed 7 fouls by the time he fouled Ramires and yet he wasn't sent off but Mikel gets a yellow card for the first foul he makes and arguably all of Lucas' fouls were worse than his.
The point I was trying to make is that in general even the small or insignificant decisions are seemingly going against us and when that continues for several games, it does start to effect players.

9.) 31 Oct 2015 23:26:27
Matey you realise added time is for both teams yeah? It's not just an extra 25 seconds (! ) for Liverpool to score while Chelsea go to the changing room. Suck it up you can't keep blaming others. Watch Australia's captains interview after losing to New Zealand in the biggest game of his career and compare it to your child of a managers. You're fast becoming a laughing stock and because of this attitude people are enjoying. Good day sir.

10.) 01 Nov 2015 09:26:37
Fuser, compare skrtel's reaction to costa's kick and Chelsea players reaction to the Lucas incident. Skrtel just went on with his game and when it came to the Lucas incident all Chelsea players go mental thus losing plot. Something I always outside your control and as a player you have to accept it. This whole thing of refs are against your team is an intoxication by Jose to the players and unfortunately it is eating up the fans too. If your players can start getting on with their jobs maybe you will see some improvements.

I love mourinho, but hate the way we play (not results ) I would love a attack minded manager, I would be happy with a transitional season as long as we wernt playing boring defensive counter attack style, I use to think mourinho was obsessed with winning, but not no more I've heard him say he's happy with draws, so I think he was more obsessed with not losing, hence boring defensive counter attack, the players we have - hazard oscar, Willian, fabreagas, Pedro ect we could play Barcelona / bayern / arsenal style not Bolton in there prime!

Kenedy reminds me of The striker Adriano who played for inter Milan, for 2/3 years he was arguably the best striker in Europe at the time, he had great uperbody strength and a powerful runner with a jack hammer of a left foot, Kenedy's running style and direct driving forward remind me a lot of him, if I'm right there was something to do with a car crash and Adriano?, and after he turned to the bottle then retired early mid to late 20s?, can't really remember though, such a shame he could have been 1 of the best for a decade.

I saw Adriano a couple of times on my travels some ten years ago or so playing for Inter Milan. Different build to Kenedy, he was thick set and really a striker whereas Kenedy is more lithe and looks the type to come from deep. Adriano was very good in the air, something we could do with up front and as you say a stunning left foot. He is still only in his 30's but not living the life left its mark and patience ran out with nearly every club he joined.

2.) 05 Sep 2015 23:47:20
I saw Adriano for inter against Aston villa at villa park at what was around his peak, don't think he played particularly well but he was a great player. That game in particular was great for seeing stars of world football, Luis Figo, Zlatan, Adriano, Chivu and others all played as well as our very own Gary Cahill

Mourinho has said that he wants 2/3 squad players not starting 11 signings, history shows this is very dangerous, if we go back to the end of us winning the league 05/06 that summer window so going into 06/07 we singed Ben -haim, Steve sidwell, Claudio pizzaro, khalid boulahrous, and the only good 1 Ashley cole, we had previously won 2 consecutive league titles,!and while we was winning Manchester United a year either side of us wining were signing vidic, evra, Rooney, ronaldo, and tevez, so we must have thought we are champions we have enough, but we lost because we had a poor window / stood still in quality and Man U signed class players and overtook us, then we have our 2009/10 title wining season the transfer window after we signed Ramires just Ramires, we must have thought again we are champions no 1 will catch up but they did and then in the January we was playing catchup so sort of panic bought Torres and luiz for big money, the main point I'm making is we need to add serious quality to our team to win again next year, if we do sign 2-3 squad players and we effectively stand still, city will add 3/5 new signings and overtake us, Manchester United will add 3/5 new signings and overtake us, if arsenal add 3 world class players they could 2 over take us also, all from a poor transfer window, it's obvious we're behind barca Madrid Munich, so why don't we keep going signing and improving because the closer the gap between us and them the bigger gap we create in the premiership!, I'm a little concerned we may not see the title for a few years again hope I'm wrong!

1.) 28 May 2015 18:55:58
While I agree to a certain extent I really do think there are only 2 areas in the 'starting 11' that can be seriously upgraded, and we have been linked with players who could come straight in, so I wouldn't be concerned if I were you.

2.) 28 May 2015 19:59:04
I think it's more about improving the quality of squad to make it competitive rather than just signing players for the sake of it.

3.) 28 May 2015 22:44:44
Mourinho didn't say that we will sign 2-3 squad players. He said 2-3 players.
Drogba is leaving so we have to sign a striker. Remy will most probably stay.
Cuadrado could leave no matter that he came only six months ago. Luis will also probably leave.
So we will be probably forced to sign striker, winger and left back and that's minimum.
Personally I expect up to five signigs this summer.

4.) 29 May 2015 02:32:57
For starters, never listen to anything Jose says about transfers. Stating the clubs transfer strategy is poor business practices.
Secondly most of the guys we are being linked with are too quality players (greizman, varane, pogba/koke) or are kids for the future.
All in all do your blood pressure a favor and don't take what Jose says for gospel.

5.) 29 May 2015 17:14:56
He said in Thailand ,who can he replace costa with? Or matic or ivanovic he then said there's nobody better, then he said he will be buying 2/3 players for the squad not staring 11,I can't help but think it's going to be a few youngsters loaned out and say a Rickie lambert to replace drogba

6.) 29 May 2015 21:03:48
Falcao or Benteke will replace Drogba.
TBH I cannot disagree with what he said.

I just want an attacking manager, it's hard to sit through 90mins even when we win so defensive, could you imagine Real Madrid wingers bursting a gut to get back and defend? Or Barcalona wingers, no Do WHAT ATTACKERS DO BEST = ATTACK! # hazard, costa, Pedro, Willian, oscar, fabreagas! Square pegs round holes! Stop defensive boring crap mourinho!

Same style as mourinho, hard work , 9 men behind the ball, counter attacking , defend first , loves clean sheets , work ethic, desire , track back , a little boring .
We have fabreagas , hazard , oscar , Pedro and others , this style doesn't suit our players take fabreagas for example technically he's 1 of the best possession based cms in the world , imagine him playing for arsenal again or city ,now ask him to track back , win headers against 6ft 4 defensive mids and he can't!,ask him to follow runners back and make luging last gasp tackles , win 50/50s , that's not him , same as hazard he's 1 of the best attackers in the world but our style don't suit him or Oscar or Pedro . In my opinion why our season is crap ATM is we don't have a style or pattern or identity , take bayern or barca they play possession football that's there identity , take Real Madrid fast attacking wave after wave of attack , man city similar style fast front foot attacking , arsenal possession ,we don't know how to play , we are so unbalanced in the sense we have a rigid defence , old English centre back types who love tackles and 50/50s and headers , with a centre back playing right back as we all know , so our defence don t start many attacks, as all the best teams defence do , then we have a midfield crying out for possession football , neat sharp passing style , then our striker is an old English fc throw back who thrives on bullying and balls lumped up to him , I'm basically dying all the best teams have identity and balance there defence start attacks , ours lump it up the pitch or out for a throwing , if where going to play possession it starts with our keeper all the way up the pitch if we play defensive boring football sell fab, hazard , oscar and Pedro , and buy tiote , cattermol , wanyama , round holes square pegs come to mind , lol just fed up

Difference between falcao and Torres is if they where in on goal falcao would most probably score with or without being over his injury because he's a natural finisher and Torres would find a way to miss accept that 1 night in barca , a 29/30 year old falcao with 1 year premiership experience is to me a big step up from a 36 year old drogba, for me he lost his pace and some strength and somehow the ball seemed to bounce of him like his touch had suffered , can't fault him for what he did off the pitch this season and all he's given over the years what a legend , but take sentiment away and he hasn't been good enough
