Van Ginkel deserves a shot for me. Captained PSV to the title and bagged a lot of goals from mid. If he was a PSV player prem clubs would be queuing up for his signature and would be happy to pay a big price too, pretty sure Chelsea would be one of them as well. At least see what he can do now he is of age and flog him next season if he doesn't cut it.

Bill, I would like to see VG given a chance but I have my doubts it will happen.
I think it it will be a one in one out policy and I would think Zapa, Drinkwater and Luiz/ Zouma are the most likely to be sold.
I don’t think Willian or Pedro will leave.
So, if I’m correct and this is one of many concerns I have about who will be in our squad next, how do we fit in some of our talented youth products and make the fans happy about so called quality signings?
That’s also why I think there appears to be no rush (paying compensation) to appoint a new manager.
The squad isn’t going to go through the dramatic overhaul some fans want.

I’ve said before but with Europa league players who should get there chance. Hudson-Odoi Loftus Cheek Van Ginkel mount can get time in that competition and hopefully spill into prem and cups. That’s how lane got his break.

theres a lot of players have good seasons with vitese but still end up being no where near good enough for chelsea. van ginkel could be another 1 of them to be honest i forgot we even still owned him but hell why not give him a shot he couldn't be possibly be any worse dan drinkwater fabrehas or bakayoko.

Just for the record, I think Bakayoko performances improved enormously at the end of the season and I think he should be given next season to prove himself to our fans!

to be fair tom, nobody wants to see bakayoko fail, but he's been poor so far.

Yes, Bakayoko had a poor season overall, but he was a really good player when he joined us and he was showing great signs of improvement towards the end of the season. Have you considered that he was not being used correctly by Conte and that he was in a league that was new to him? Didier wasn't much cop in his first season, and look how he turned out!

Great dream team.

But actually hard to imagine icardi n bailey sign for us. Will settle with what we have (morata-hope sarri will teach him something to flourish)

Hope we can rap up seri/ golovin or both, n world class cb (rugani? )

Musonda must head to loan n show something. Bring back mount n hudson adoi as our supersub.
