Afternoon everyone looking forward to tonight should be a good game,

Ed I was wondering if we would be aloud a list of potential outgoings, make a change from possible incomings wouldn't be interesting to see who the club are looking
To sell/ loan if your willing.

All the best everyone let's hope for the 3 points tonight come on you mighty blues.

{Ed002's Note - There is no point me providing the list - the regulars will spew their hate over the players as they always do.}

1.) 12 May 2021 19:12:10
Ah fair enough Ed sorry for long reply been working, thank you anyway.

2.) 12 May 2021 20:20:49
It’s all very sad Lampsy.

Hope things improve Ed.

3.) 13 May 2021 08:11:18
Ed it's rather looking like you always find it convenient during every window to claim abuse and refuse to provide transfer info. your contribution here is immense and to the best of knowledge, every user of your his site has nothing respect and appreciation for your efforts. im particular pained about such unfair treatment. Denying us vital info when more pressing.
In essence, the abusers as claimed obviously are not Chelsea fans and are throwing insults just to stop you from providing updates for us. if actually you regard fans appreciation here, just ignore the abuse because you know they are out to ruin for the fans who enjoy and appreciate your contributions. That's the reason many of us are frustrated with the excuse of not providing info because of abuse because we don't know what the abuse are and expected you to ignore them as they only want you to stop which is integrity issue. winding you up for an expected reactions. that was the reason we were guessing your gender because emotions are taking better part of youno disrespect for any gender
Have a rethink about helping out with info as we have always appreciated. thanks.

{Ed002's Note - If it is frustrating you so much perhaps my removing myself completely from this page is the answer.}

4.) 13 May 2021 10:22:40
Ilo, I will take Ed at his word and having seen some of the sickening abuse aimed at Chelsea players and managers I can only imagine what abuse gets edited before it comes onto this site.

Any and I mean ANY information or opinion the Eds give is given free of charge. Some posters might do well to remember that.

5.) 13 May 2021 13:49:05
Well said Tom. Not a helpful message Ilo however well intentioned it may have been. Give Ed002 some space. Ed does give information on Eds terms - not ours. This is Eds absolute right given that we would like to know a little bit of what Ed does! We’d be far worse off on this page without Ed002’s input!

6.) 15 May 2021 07:23:51
I'm sorry if my post came out the wrong way. it was borne out frustration due to Ed leaving us in our own every transfer window because of abuse from others posters who we believe are not Chelsea fans. i would think so hard to remember any window that he stayed around all through. eds are the the reason we all love the site and there certain period we would like their contribution more, esp during transfer period as they have shown overtime they provide very reliable info.
In essence, I only meant to appeal to the Ed's to kindly ignore the abusers as they only set out to stopping Ed's from helping out which they have done many times esp during the transfer window. i believe it's because it's been working for them in the Ed that they continue to do same over and over again. ignoring them night change everything.
Again maybe there are certain things that actually upset Ed without us knowing them like criticizing players after poor performance which everyone including me do. this is a banter page where we all think it's normal to let off frustrations and and expectations. Ed if it will help please guide us on the best behavior we should put up here for harmonious relationship. we understand you only do this to help us and we appreciate you more than you may know. infact personally I would be open to subscription if the info will be regular and as required.

7.) 16 May 2021 22:26:47
We're all supposed to be adults here but asking for guidance on how to behave suggests otherwise. But basically telling the eds to suck it up and ignore the abuse they receive isn't going to work. Does Ed002 refuse to give info to any other teams? If not then my guess the issue is within our support not anyone else.

09 May 2021 20:08:00
Hi Ed not sure if you not currently giving out Chelsea info but in case you are. Do the club have any intrest in signing Kane if so do you think a deal is possible I saw you mention lewandoski is unlikely and lukaku is yet to be forgiven by a significant member of the club so a transfer there is also unlikely and haaland has everyone and there nan after him and the money involved will be crazy. Is there any chance of a list of who the club has spoken to in anyway if not has anything changed since you last updated us thank you stay safe all best everyone.

{Ed002's Note - If Kane became available then PSG and the Manchester clubs would no doubt be keen - other clubs who can afford him such as Chelsea and Bayern Munich would certainly be asked if they were interested. If it happens it could become a huge auction.}

1.) 09 May 2021 20:33:03
Thank you always appreciated.

2.) 10 May 2021 07:31:50
It's reported that Kane asked levy to leave is. Us it the he available you mean. do you. Also do you think spurs would sell Kane to Chelsea as per London rivalry. kanes ambition would come under doubt if fails to leave this summer as he's too good to not be winning tittles. Halaand looks to attract many big interest. in your knowledge of the situation please where do see him ending up and which striker do you think Chelsea should sign this season to help propel us to the next level.

{Ed002's Note - It is difficult to understand what you mean but Harry Kane has not submitted a transfer request. I think what I wrote is perfectly clear. If he does become available I suspect Manchester United would push hard to sign him, and as I said Manchester City would also be keen. There are several options for Haaland but right now a move to Spain next year seems the most likely. I don't know where Chelsea will end up striker wise next season - they have several options.}

3.) 10 May 2021 18:19:43
When you say next year you mean 2022 offseason ed?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about.}

07 Apr 2021 18:38:53
Hello Ed and fellow posters, got to say TT has done an amazing job the game against WBA was just a blip some days teams turn up and are just better on the day and I think WBA would of beaten anyone the way they played so credit to them.

Hopefully we have a good display tonight I'd take an away goal and a draw though I'm hoping for a win.

Ed I was curious I've been reading the posts lately and it would seem the main focus in the summer is going to be on a cab and a st do the club deem that sarr guy we brought has not ready for first team yet and do you no who Chelsea are looking to upfront besides the obvious haaland and lukaku neither of which I can see happening.

In terms of outs would you say it's reasonable to expect the following to leave has things stand.

I suspect Jorginho too but I guess it depends on who we bring back from the loans or the under 23 set up don't think spending big on rice is what we need.

Last question are the club looking to offload Werner I've seen it reported a few times I'm hoping it isn't true guys only been with us a year he's a good player just needs time I think.

Anyway hope your safe and all other Ed's and posters KTBFFH all the best come on the Chelsea.

{Ed002's Note - (a) You can likely watch Sarr later and make up your mind - I don't know if he will start but he is in the squad. (b) I have explained the situation with Haaland and unless something very significant were to happen to resolve a huge issue there will be no chance of Lukaku returning. As I have already explained Chelsea have not finalised what they intend to do in the summer but consideration has also to be given to those on loan and coming through and how they progress. (c) No, it is not reasonable to expect that all of those players will leave - but certainly some will. (d) Chelsea has made no efforts to "offload" Timo Werner and my expectation is he that will start tonight.}

03 Jun 2020 11:05:38
Morning Ed and posters Ed not sure if you can or will want to comment on sauls future considering his big countdown announcement but don't suppose it has anything to do with us and the Morata money? I'm pretty sure you've said in the past Chelsea have looked at him.

Do we still retain an interest in Jude Bellingham looks to be Dortmund bound but again previous interest was there I belive.

Is anyone in your opinion likely to push for Kante this year or do you think we will get one more season with him at least.

Lastly do you still make them podcasts haven't seen any links up in a while always an interesting listen.
Thank you for your time.

{Ed002's Note - (a) Try Twitter. (b) Jude Bellingham (CM) As far as I know the situation remains with Jude Bellingham that Birmingham want more than £30M for the kid and know that there are clubs from across Europe interested in him, including clubs who can afford to take the risks and clubs who will give him a chance of first team football before the likes of Manchester United (who are very keen). Manchester United have done nothing to try and complete the transfer but propose a low fee and bonuses over a number of years but the player wants a road map which the club can't offer. Dortmund have continued discussions and have thought for a while that they will reach a formal agreement. (c) N'Golo Kante (DM/CM) PSG have enquired and are of the opinion Real Madrid to may make an offer in the summer. (d) I am sure the Sharkopods will return at some point.}

1.) 03 Jun 2020 11:22:10
Thanks for that Ed.

06 Jun 2017 02:09:03
Hey Ed002 not commented in a while but been following see you've made some great calls regarding other players for other teams this year yet again so far your knowledge is second to none.

Im unaware if your still travelling but if you have a spare 5mins could you just give us a really quick and dirty run down of the top targets and positions the club seems to be focusing on the most please just untill you get round to putting together one of those sharkppod things please.

all the best safe travels and again thanks for the all the info.

{Ed002's Note - Remind me at the end of the week L.}

Hello all was sitting eating lunch today flicking through the football news online and i thought just how devastating the C.V. has to of been on football just think of the players likely moving this year I can't rember anthor window with so many big names looking to be moving

Doesn't it seem crazy that all these have a serious chance of moving in just one year. crazy times I wonder what prices will be like to.

Looking forward to the euros now though just hope the Kane saga is sorted no matter where he goes or if he stays before the tournament. Hope your all well.

1.) 21 May 2021 15:14:04

It’s a long list with lots more loan players that can be added to the list if the club wants.

As I keep saying, it’s going to be a busy window.

19 May 2021 13:25:44
Hello Ed and everyone great result, with a ST seemingly the main priority do we have an interest in DCL no ones mentioned him but he looks to have a good future progressing well and from what I’ve seen a great attitude he could be a great buy.

1.) 19 May 2021 13:48:31
Outside of the top, top options (Kane, HAALAND, Lewandowski), he'd be my best option Lampsy.

12 May 2021 19:21:13
Guys and girls can we try to be a bit more tactful about the words we are using when asking or replying to questions. Same with slating players obviously if they have a bad game then fair but let's not go overboard, I'm just putting this because every year it seems we annoy Ed with this and we loose his time and knowledge which I think we can all agree doesn't help us in anyway, as for the abuse ed002 can particularly get at times I think again all of us can agree it has no place here for someone giving us this for free a bit of gratitude wouldn't go a miss it's been a really tough last 18 months I'm sure for us all personally and probably in most of our work life's this is somewhere we can come together and enjoy our teams highs and lows together whilst not being able to go to games and on the whole you seem like a decent group not trying to play mother just would be nice to have Ed back and who knows maybe when this is all over the regulars and anyone who fancy's it could meet for a pint before a game someday. Anyway hope this gets posted and everyone stays well and safe fingers crossed for the game much love my big blue family all the best.

1.) 12 May 2021 19:38:06
I agree Lampsy, we shouldn’t slate players but should be able to objectively criticise players in a respectful and temperate manner otherwise there is no point in the site. We all know that certain players are not up to it but we support when they run on the field in the shirt.

2.) 12 May 2021 20:17:42
Very good points Lampsy.

We are the words we use and the words we use are important.

I have never understood why fans who obviously love the club, manager and players CHOOSE to use words that show zero respect.

I enjoy a pint with fans from all football supporters (except spuds) haha. I like the idea of meeting up.

3.) 12 May 2021 20:42:00
The abuse will start after the Arsenal game given the start we have made.
It happens every time we have a rare poor performance.

4.) 12 May 2021 22:14:06
I hope not Strasbourg but I’ve said that so many times this season.

08 May 2021 21:46:15
Anther cracking result and one step closer to CL football next year, this team is defiantly going places, kept going today city had some decent spells and should of been awarded the penalty at the end but we played well lot of energy and team spirit if we can get a result against arsenal I think we are basically there and can focus on the FA cup and CL final I still stand buy top 4 is an achievement in and of itself from where we were one trophy would be great I'm pretty sure this won't be the last time Chelsea blue is seen in CL final over the next few years anyhow great performance KTBFFH.

1.) 09 May 2021 00:31:24
Agree lampsy.

06 May 2021 09:32:27
Well last night has sunk in and you can see this time is heading for a bright future.

I had a couple of questions I'd like to put to the Ed's and you guys.

When you look at the statistics in terms of us under TT as good as we look the one thing that gets to me is the lack of goals they create and create so I would presume the club will seek a goal scorer this summer, who and why would you you choose, for me the club needs a poacher somone with a good first touch and positional awareness because the amount of balls whipped across the 6 yard box and no one is there it's for this reason I don't want lukaku I don't feel he's the right fit haaland would be a dream but I don't see it happening it's not easy and this is the one time if the decision is made correctly I think we could dominate for a few years just intrested to hear what people think Kane would score so many in this team he's even more ideal then haaland but again don't see it happening.

The other question was the defence who have done a remarkable job I think Thiago could do a job for one more year but if he isn't offered an extension whoever we bring in needs to be of experience you can see the younger lads learning off him and Dave the balance is right I hope whoever is brought fits that same mould.

So basically who would be your first choice ST and why

And who would you like to see brought in as a CB.

From what I've seen on other site posts Ed say, it seems like we are in very good financial shape.

And the likely sales of Emerson, Tammy maybe Dave and Kepa would bring in a reasonable amount so assuming money's no object I'm intrested to hear your pints of view.

Lastly if Dave were to go and I think it's a big If anyone have and Rb/ rwb they would like to see has James would need cover.

All the best everyone stay safe.

{Ed001's Note - Lewandowski would be the dream striker signing, for any team, as he is the best out and out centre-forward in the world. Lautaro Martinez, Isak or even Lacazette would be the more 'realistic' options I would put forward.

For centre-back I would test Arsenal's willingness to let Saliba go, moronic by Arteta to let him go out on loan, he is their best centre-back. Other than that, it depends on the way the team is going. But I would probably suggest Kounde, though I know people worry about his lack of height.} Become a Patron!

1.) 06 May 2021 10:28:38
Less of a worry in a three, if we stick with it, ed?

{Ed001's Note - that is what I was basing my choice on, a back 3.}

2.) 06 May 2021 11:38:09
Lacazette has been wasted at Arsenal lot of people have mentioned this Isak how good is he anyone know .

3.) 06 May 2021 13:19:15
Ed001, do you think that Armando Broja could be ready to play as a third striker at the club next season if both Tammy and Giroud leave?

{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen him play out there at Vitesse, but he is at the age where he should be ready.}

4.) 06 May 2021 17:08:06
Thanks for your response ED001. I've not watched him play a full match either but he seems to be banging the goals in. Obviously a different calibre of league, but perhaps it wouldn't be a bad shout for him to be with the 1st team next year. Wonder if TT will consider him as an option. Perhaps the club would want a Premier league loan first before trying him?

{Ed001's Note - possibly, but you can end up just constantly loaning players out and never giving them a chance if you are not careful. Chelsea have done a lot of that in recent years, missing the moment to get them in the team. Sometimes you just have to leave a gap and take a chance. Mount shows how much it can pay off.}

5.) 06 May 2021 17:36:56
There'll be two spots (Abraham and Giroud), would totally make sense for him to take one of them.

6.) 07 May 2021 10:40:31
I agree J. 3rd striker place to get experience with the first team and see if he can make the step up. It's a very good opportunity if both TA and OG leave.

Ed001 You're absolutely right. The loan army hasn't really worked until the last year or two as a feeder to the first team at all. Do you think it's actually capable of halting a young player's development? You'd think these guys, at that kind fo age, have to feel stable and that there's one club or manager that trusts their talent, which would be far more suited to a permanent transfer somewhere and building up. I'd argue it's ruined a hell of a lot of promising careers. In some cases it seems to leave a permanent mark on the players confidence – must be so dispiriting, one loan after another. Ampadu was so incredibly promising, but seems to have lost that spark now and I fear for him a bit. The list of hugely talented players lost is immense. I guess you can't ever know for sure if they'd have 'made it' had they been permanently signed by other 'smaller' clubs instead, but I wouldn't be surprised if many of them had turned into proper stars. You often seem to see their careers just fall off a cliff on the second loan. Tibault Cortois and Mason Mount are probably the only players I can think of that successfully used it (thus far) . Perhaps you could say Victor Moses? But that felt like a strange fluke. As you say, I think the pressure of the job and especially the high turnover of managers has meant that we've shied away from giving young lads a chance at the right moment – Lampard does get credit for doing so, though the rest of his management wasn't fantastic.

p. s. on an unrelated note, I remember you saying something ages ago about Reece James and his tendency to pass backwards being a lot about how he's set to pass back in his body shape when receiving the ball – he still does it so often! It's so incredibly frustrating! I have noticed though that he's making a lot more positive movements than he did under Lampard, so I guess the coaching staff are working on it with him and it'll just take some time to iron out – why do you think a player with his crossing talent might develop that kind of tendency? A lack of confidence on the big stage? Or do you think it was something the staff under Lampard were telling the players to do? We seemed to 'reset' play with passes back to the defence from both wings an awful lot in good attacking positions under Lampard – was that really a tactic? Lack of attacking drills so no confidence in finding a man? Any insight you could shed on the possibilities would be great, because that was truly baffling for me to watch, and often had me shouting at the tele!

{Ed001's Note - loans very rarely work, I know clubs use them a lot but it is something I would like to see abolished altogether as it makes a mockery of the lower leagues competitiveness. These youngsters would be far better off signing for clubs that will use them in their own first team and climbing the leagues, rather than joining big clubs where the will be farmed out to those teams on loan.}

Not tongue in cheek at all they get payed handsomely they don’t need the money and what’s worst can happen contract gets torn up they would all walk into anther club just because they have a contract doesn’t make them slaves and it would be nice to see them make a stand.

Would be sad to see him go having watched his journey but it would bring in some reasonable funds and he needs to be playing regularly at his age wouldn’t be to upset if he stayed but can’t see him being happy has the backup forward will wish him the best whatever happens.

I think a loan would be a good option he’s not long signed that 5 year deal I believe so maybe a season or two on loan and then reevaluate his progression the potential looks to be there.
