Numerous fans here concerned by the 'apparent' lack of activity being reported on transfers.
The best advice is to leave the papers alone, what they report today is the same as 4 months ago. Slightly different headline; with a new pic and a different set of spelling mistakes is the only difference.
Man City concluded the transfer of Bernardo Silva whilst all the papers said he was on his way to Man Utd.
According to the papers, Chelsea had agreed the transfer of Bakayoko for £35 million some months ago; today however these same reports state a bid of £27 million has been rejected by Monaco.

No need to read the Star then.

It has been previously reported that Conte's wife and daughter will be moving to the UK in the Summer. They have already found an Italian school in London for their daughter to attend.
His brother owns a pizzeria restaurant in Turin, 'One Apple Concept Bar'and allegedly AC is looking to extend the business by opening one in the 'world's capital', London.

Golovin is an attacking midfielder of which there are literally dozens of players of a similar mold. I would suspect AC is looking at a wing back role.
In my opinion there are better players around but perhaps more expensive.

One complaint issued against Lukaku is that he hasn't produced against the top teams. This is not a fair criticism since he does not have the team around him to produce against the very best.
My complaint against him is his lack of close ball control. He is fine running on to the ball or running against a defence with the ball but his foot work is lacking, not very good considering how Chelsea play with Costa, Pedro and Hazard. With the quick passing Chelsea play in and around the box Morata would be my choice and his all-around game is superior and more suited to our style of play.
Unfortunately, Michael Emanalo is one who is pressing for his return.

It depends on who AC brings in at central midfield, 1 or 2 extra. If only 1 then Fabregas stays, he is too valuable since he offers a Plan B but also as we have previously seen in some games, a good Plan A.
Presently Chelsea's core midfield is two from the following, Matic Kante, Fabregas and then the kids.
AC is building a team to win both CL and PL (to win the CL and not just to be in it) .
INS
2 strikers
1 WB
1 DM
1 CB
1 GK
Cost: £250 million
If AC needs more players then he will have to start selling more, possibly Fabregas but I would suspect it would be Matic, he could then bring in perhaps Verratti and Bakayoko.
Fabregas offers something none of the others can, I don't expect him to leave.

JBS, search the internet for videos on Bakayoko, he is an upgrade on Matic. Good signing IMO.

We will not win the CL by bringing in a 'squad player' OR by promoting a young player from the academy. AC is looking for upgrades to the existing starting 11.

The best way to view the matter.
Is Ake good enough for CFC to win the PL and CL - No.
Is Zouma capable of that challenge and is he classed as a home grown player - No and No.
Christensen is homegrown and good enough to make the first team at some point in the season.
Excluding the GK position, CFC need to spend about £270 million on 5 top players, so transfers out will be important.

I'm not convinced there is any solid interest from the club for Ox. RWB is covered by Azpi whereas we have no cover for Alonso, AC is looking for an upgrade for that position.

He's good with his feet then.
