I've said many times that the value of any player is what the buyer and seller agree and it's not something that usually bothers me and that includes any supposed "English premium".

Some the numbers banded about for Haaland are eye watering. Let's hope Maria can work her magic.

Problem Dortmund or more issue, is if they’ve set value at £180 like reported then a year later it’s apparently 3rd the price, that’s a lot to lose for one season,

No one is going to pay a huge premuim (£180m) to sign him this year particularly given the lack of cash around currently.
I could see around £100m then a massive agent fee no doubt.
A few clubs will try and pursuade Haaland to wait until he is available at the lower price no doubt so it will be interesting to see who is prepared to pay a premium.
