Vale and Gilmour are leaving Chelsea’s first team camp to potentially join up with the development squad and Armando Broja is flying back to England, clubs pushing to sign him.

Broja is leaving for West Ham. The decision making at Chelsea continues to baffle me.

also I think its the right move. He needs to be playing day in and out to develop further
if he were to stay he would not get playing time. These players have to go on Loans and play week in and out and get into the teams that they have been loaned to.
This is the only way they will be ever ready for the first team.

It maybe that we lose out on this player . so be it. Im happy that they are progressing.

Great loan move for the lad. West Ham are a good side and will be competing for a European spot unlike Southampton last year. It give’s him a massive chance to prove himself to hopefully step up to our first team next season.

{Ed001's Note - I think it is a sensible move. They need a striker, he will get games and he looked nowhere near good enough yet to play for Chelsea.}

Think this is more to do with cash rather than anything else
If goes on loan - he goes on current wages?
Won’t sign a new extended contract as ties him into us
Wants guaranteed play time - not going to happen

Shame but get a sell on and buy back in place then good luck to him.

I. Not sure how we would know if Broja is good or not to play for us as he has not been given a chance to prove himself one way or another.

I just wonder what would have happened to Mason Mount and Reece James if they were coming through now.

I really am getting fed up losing our crown jewels should this turns out to be a permanent one.

Bill, I think the loan system can work as it did in the players you mentioned.

I would like to see us give more youngsters a chance but as fans we demand continued success. It’s not an easy balance.
