The Gittens rumours are getting stronger. I like him as a player.

The interesting thing for me will be what happens to Noni, Neto. Mudryk, Santo and maybe George.

All will be revealed over the next few weeks!

I would sell Madueke think if we buy the forward from Frankfurt I would sell Jackson who I like as a player but three out and out forwards are one too many,

Sancho I would keep Mudryk who knows think the squad is shaping up nicely a top Keeper hopefully next in line.

Bill, I’m not sure what is going on with Mudryk but I seem to remember reading that we can cancel his contract and not pay the balance of his transfer fee and that was reported to be circa £40m. I don’t know if that’s true but if it is, I would just take the bit and move on!

I have no issues keeping Sancho and I think Neto will prove to be a top signing. So I would say goodbye to Noni (shame) and Mudryk. That leaves George and I think I would send him out on loan after he signed a contract extension.

I have been mentioning for some time that I thought we would sign Gittens and it’s for that reason I have been looking at his performances. I think he would do well in the premiership. He can go both ways and is quick enough. He isn’t scared of taking a pop from outside the box. The last time I looked he had about a goal in every four games ratio and that isn’t bad for a wide player.

I like him Tom but it now appears Arsenal are also in for him so we might miss out. As for Mudryk he apparently took a lie detector test and passed it. It is dragging on and a decision must be made from the authorities soon.

I think they will have to find him guilty otherwise they will leave themselves open to law suits from both our club and player.

Not sure why people are down on Madueke - I think he has often been impactful, if not consistently so. I like his directness off either flank. I would also include Jackson as an option off the left as well as through the middle alongside Delap.

Sancho? Flatters to deceive but also scored a big goal against Spurs and another in the CL final. For £25m, I think he is worth another season. With Estaveao joining, I’m not convinced we need another right wide forward, but no doubt we will buy one!

I am discounting Mudryk for now, but it would be good to have some clarity. People make mistakes, especially when they have his background and with the ongoing war - maybe I’m just a soft touch.
