If BL are getting close to there asking price, then well done them. If we are sticking to our valuation, then well done us. If the player decides to go to the spuds, then lucky them because he is what they need.

Good player in my opinion.

I still don't think we need him but can not understand why we just did not walk away sooner. Who knows we might still get him.

We also don't need Garnacho due to his attitude but I'm sure the club doesn't really take too much notice of what I say.

I’ve no real problem with Simons going to Spurs - they definitely need a (fit) AM and its not a priority for us when we could play Palmer, Pedro, Estevao or Enzo in the 10 role.

On that basis, a bit surprised with the proposed loan move for Buonanotti from Brighton then.

Garnacho? I just struggle to get excited to be honest. Think I’d rather hold on to George to be honest, and PSR/ pure profit should be less of a consideration this summer if that’s the driver there.

FD, george was in our conference league squad so counts towards balancing the books for uefa and therefore registering new signings in the UCL. I think that’s the driving point - not PSR.

FD, Apparently we have been long time admirers of Garnacho.

The Simmons supposed interest wWas interesting as I rate the player and I saw him as a challenge to Palmer. It was pointed out to me that we now have several players who can challenge Palmer. I guess that it true as you pointed out as much in your post.
