I wasn't particurarly imprssed by his performance at CWC Tusole. He is certainly experienced, a big unit and presence in the box and can be commanding there against aerial threats but just seems lacking in a bit of nimbleness in getting down to low to shots in particular. A reason why PSG willing to let him go?
Have no idea if we're trying for him.
{Ed001's Note - his wage demands are why PSG want rid.}

Looking at data Donarruma and Sanchez are very similar, so why buy Donnoruma to replace Sanchez, especially as Edd001 states, his wage demands!
The SD's see Penders as the next big thing after this coming season on loan at Strausburg, with Slonina as no2, let's see what the club decvide!
{Ed001's Note - he is not a great keeper - should have been, but has shown little real improvement since he emerged at 17. So many errors as well, no wonder they were so happy to just replace him when he demanded a pay rise.}

Good info Ed001 as always and thanks for it.
{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate. Enrique doesn't like players to rock the boat and get too big for their boots. The club pays them extremely well anyway, so if they get greedy, he won't stand for it. He wants them to be team players first and foremost. He relies a lot on togetherness amongst his squad, hence them offloading all the big time Charlies and going with young, hungry players.}

The whole “big = commanding in the box” thing is a false logic. Like lots of Italian goalkeepers, Donnarumma’s general approach when a ball comes in is to go deep to give himself time to react, relying on the large wingspan to help with that. It’s a question of style and choice.
Sanchez is also a “big unit” and, while Donnarumma is probably a better / more consistent shot stopper, Sanchez is a better passer of the ball under pressure. I think the same thing that rules Donnarumma out at PSG would extend to the role in a Maresca side. It makes little sense to me as a rumour.
