Hi all - something that interests me is how Barkley is seemingly ahead of RLC in the pecking order at Chelsea when RLC is in the England squad ahead of Barkley. Does anyone have any thoughts on this - maybe that Barkley wasn't fit enough for the World Cup, RLC went and did well therefore not dropped?
Also, does anyone have any insight on whether RLC will be leaving today and, if so, whether perm/ loan?

Does anyone on here regularly go and watch the Reserves side in Aldershot? Be interested to hear what people have to say about some of those lads.
Also a regular loan watch (like the Musonda watch) would be really interesting I think to follow if anyone out there wants to do it/ has time.

Ed, what can you tell us about what's going on with Ashley Cole? Not too long ago, cole was the most trusted left back in the country now mourinho won't even rest ivanovic or azpilicueta against Stoke in the middle of a champions league tie so that cole can get a game. Surely it's more than mourinho doesn't trust him or he wouldn't be making the bench. Be interested in what you can tell us. Thanks
{Ed002's Note - Cole is not the first choice. He'll get a game before he leaves at the end of the season.}

What happens now with regards to Ba - thought he was surplus to our non-EU player limit?

1.) Ba excepted loan or transfer to, CL club but Chelsea decided not to strengthen Arsenal {Ed002's Note - It is a little bit more complicated than that and nothing to do with not strengthening Arsenal. There had been an agreement reached with another side but their insurers would not agree to provide cover without a medical with their approved staff present. It does however leave an issue the club did not expect. They'll tough it out through to January when I suspect we will see another striker arrive and Ba leave.}

(Old poster back from the grave) - Miss the long posts of 2012/ 2013 era when people had proper discussions about Chelsea, tactics, players etc. However, don't believe I can just sit here reading and saying I miss it, without contributing towards its recovery.
I'm thinking PSG will score at home tonight too. Know all too well about away goals with this lot so we really need to try and get one especially as PSG missing their RB (van der wiel tonight so will likely replace with Marquinhos.
Hopefully we can counter quickly with Azpi and Rahman joining in when the time's right. I imagine Mikel and Fab will start as DMs with Willian, Oscar, Hazard in front (however think Hazard would have been benched if Matic was fit due to his comments) . Then Costa up front and to score, come on the Chels!

Don't understand how people can say "you have to believe in our manager" but gave Rafa so much grief. Imagine turning up to your work place and everyone turning around and booing you and hoping you were fired even though you were key to the success of the firm. That's effectively what large sections of our fans were doing.
Has he been given a work permit then or are we confident he would get one/continue on student visa? he hasn't been selected for a few internationals for BF over the last few years {Ed002's Note - No work permit has been applied for at this time. He has a student visa.}
