Chelsea played really bad today.
It was obvious the players were jaded from the mid week game against PSG. I thought Pedro was awful today, his first touch let him down too many times. Matic's form has been hard to accept, how he gas fallen is hard to understand. I hope to RLC get a chance alongside Mikel now. I want to see Kennedy play further up and as full back. He looks a talent.

What fans usually don't know is real fitness status of players. I strongly believe that many of our players are struggling with injuries and fitness this season and that can explain lack of form.

I must say Mikel has raised his level of performance significantly. He keeps things very simple, and provides super cover for our defence. Mikel and Fabregas played a great game today and should continue to do so in Matic's absence who I feel needs to improve.
I rate Zouma highly and I must say he will boss the premier league for years to come. I love the guy.
Great response from Costa, despite being criticised and booed by fans he has shown great discipline and is looking like the player of last year.
Willian has been a revelation this year. Looks dangerous every time he is on the ball.

I hear Emenalo stating "the palpable discord" between the manager and players was the reason for why JM had to leave.
I agree with Emenalo that the players cannot be blamed and I agree they shed tears and blood to win last year. However, as a board member he can't publicly blame the players otherwise this would be catastrophic. So I think it's right that he backs the players to have them on side.

While I don't disagree with what you said, I think this development shows that we may have to get used to the revolving managerial door. With the way the players contracts work, it's simply too hard for the board to back the manager over the players, so they'll win every time.

Jose Mourinho leaves Chelsea on good terms according to the official Chelsea statement. I hope this is true because JM is absolute Champion for us and deserves the upmost respect.
I am so gutted to hear he has left. Players such as Diego Costa, Hazard, Oscar must be brimming in joy. The thought of the possible replacements are making me worry.
