Conte first year
Won the league playing 1game a week
Fell out with Costa and sold matic in the end
Nathan Ake Charly musonda
I think Jose second time around bought a sense of what am I doing here second time around but Tony has been such a depressing negative person this year
I would love a manager like klopp or pep to come in with unrelenting positivity and a sense of I'm going to tell you what I want from players and board Conte did do this last year but this year he has depressed me
Hey Eddie's old boys any news on CFC plans next next year been such a mad year
First year I can remember penny pitching

First year can't believe manager hasn't been sacked
First year can't believe sold our future spine
First year we haven't looked like winning anything
First year I can't remember Roman having less of a say than ever
First year we bought players we actually don't need Barkley Zappa Emerson giroud Drinkwater
It's the first year I can remember in last 15 we haven't been proactive in getting rid of rubbish and spending right

I remember slagging off Mikel kalou Mikel Torres and a v b I would welcome all back with open arms
Im new to this site so pardon my negativity but lads what's happening.

Costa was always going to leave as was Matic, Conte actually motivated Matic to stay one extra year and then was sold by the board to united.

Last time I checked Musonda wasn't playing to much for Celtic, and Nathan Ake hasn't played well for Bournemouth.

Last season we overachieved, and then didn't strengthen the squad at all, that's why we're where we are. Conte also hasn't got the players playing their best football but that's not all down to him.

We didn’t penny pinch at all. We spent £200m on crap players. Simple really. Bakayoko - never got going, Morata - if he stays I’m sure of a better season next one. Just needs to toughen up. Rudiger - not bad.

I don't think Bakayoko (whom will come good soon), Morata, Rudiger and R. Barkley (if he stays fit) are bad signings.

Obviously, the Ed’s know better than us, but can anyone honestly say that this club has a plan? It looks as if we have no direction, and everyone’s looking at one another, waiting for someone else to make a decision rather than doing something themselves. We look a complete and utter mess.

- Roman clearly wanted Guardiola, hence the purchase of Pep-style footballers. Only for Guardiola himself to say no? How arrogant can our owner be to be that confident of someone joining before an agreement can be made?

- Now, with Guardiola style footballers, we appoint the complete opposite of Guardiola in one José Mourinho. Again, a clear sign of making a decision without giving it much thought.

That’s where our problems have come from. I love Antonio and for what he’s done, but come on, Roman and others would have and should have known about his history with Juventus. did they honestly think it would be any different here? Ludicrous.

Changes are needed and Luis f’n Enrique is another stop-gap. A manager who’s not known for implementing his own philosophy, or being someone that’s ruthless by any means. Sure, he won the treble but he also got Barcelona of all teams playing poor football.

Our club, I’m sure has a multitude of Business Plans, covering all aspects of the club and in the main ( exception communication to fan) they are very successful.
The one that concerns most fans and the one that generates/ allows the others to function, is playing performance/ success.
I’m a fan who would prefer some stability.
As fans with have our own entitled opinions about the manager and the players, long may this continue.
My view, for what’s its worth is a lot of the problems on the playing side stem from three things.
(a) Conte signing a new contract but not extending the term.
(b) No replacement (over many years) for our historic dressing room leaders
(c) The loss of senior and long term managerial support staff.
I am not overly critical of the players we’ve signed or the players we’ve sold.

I think you boys are confused as to which supermarket we shop at.
I would be more interested to find out where teams like Dortmund are picking up there young talent. Also look at ways to feed the young players into the team quicker.

1/ we have some of best young players in Europe just not broke into or given chances in first team
2/ we are playing europa league football next year, the young players will be involved a lot early on so chances are they take chance and get prem games. ie Kane and rashford for examples.

Many of us call for Conte's head but he's only worked with what was giving to him. Besides even our so called big players had stopped playing especially Hazard. Hazard is not world class for me because he goes missing in all the big matches. He's mentally weak and sulks often. Wouldn't mind selling him and investing in the right player. He often delay our attack and let opposition defenders get back to position.
I guess Conte's mistake was letting Costa go hoping the club would support him for another striker on the same level. Unfortunately we only got Morata. Diego and Matic departures weakened our squad as their replacement were not adequate.
Finally I still want Conte to stay provided the board will support him with his preferred transfer targets. I can't really see a better replacement for him atm.

It's pretty amazing that you can win the premier league one season, and struggle to finish 5th the next.

He ran out of ideas yesterday, 81st Min at 3-1 down he made first change in must win game, poc made tactical changes at half time as he saw problems, Come 60 min if we’re not winning team run out of ideas and look nervous, 1 game a week we pressed high and had most teams on back foot. Win ball back quick and had costa causing problems if he scored or not, this year we looked tired from day one, never pressed as high and set up not to lose rather than win, 7 defensive players on pitch at once whomever we are against.
