Well that was entertaining and so much better now that Jorghi isn't in the side.
The manager just needs more time to master making £800m worth of players into relegation fodder.

Unless the master plan was to write off this season in the laegue and so give Potter all remaining games as a kind of hugely long pre-season for 2023-4? Testing the psyche of players by seeing who holds up best after endless disappointing results.

I enjoy and greatly respect Ed001. But it really is hard Ed to see what Potter is achieving with the players so far in terms of making them more confident and able to take right decisions even if it is early days. And surely he can do this and still get more wins especially against 'lower' sides.

He must have the worst record or be close to it of all recent CFC managers after this number of games? Key question I guess is whether the players still trust him. Would think that if we go out of UCL after second leg v Dortmund Potter exit will follow. I've never wanted managers sacked. But if there is disapponting result after disappointing result surely players' confidence goes one way. Unless this is all a master plan, perhaps to lull Dortmund into sending their under 16 team to Stamford Bridge on 7 March? I am just not getting yet why Potter has been so well thought of, what he is doing behind the scenes that should make us believe we can wait with some confidence for great things from him and the team next season. I don't know how long it's supposed to take him to show positive results. We aren't scoring and still letting in goals. After albeit a few games Mudryk and Enzo fernandes and today Batsheile look less good than on first appearances. Mount looks lost.

OK I will end on a positive note. I do think that we have some wonderful players in our squad including some excellent younger ones recently acquired. Including Andrey Santos who had the misfortune of being at the Bridge today. The future can still be very bright indeed.
