good end to season last year with big world cup win but im not happy starting this season. we still have not a good goalkeeper, we still do not have a sponsor and again we have a massive and bloated squad. sterling is picking up 300k to do nothing and many other player in the bomb squad are doing nothing and have lengthy contracts for us to pay them.

i think we will do ok but after spending 2 billion were probably where we need to be - which is actually where we were before spending the 2 billion. Enzo is still dropping stinkers every week also he really should improve. the rest i can't fault though so good things to look ahead too i just am also dissapointed in some things.

happy to listen to anyone who disagrees we all love the chels at the end of the day and WE HATE TOTNAM.

Agree with a bits of your post the 2 billion figure is a bit misleading as we have had loads of sales

A lot of top teams have players on ludicrous wages doing nothing although why they tell everybody they are in the bomb squad I don't know how to talk down an asset. , Sterlings contract needs terminating for what will be a loss

Our goalkeeper is clearly not top draw waiting for Penders next year.

The sponsor is weird these are astute guys they must have something going on in the background .

I do like the manager and we do need a large squad to cope with the injuries. Think we will be better than last year 2nd is my guess.

The much quoted bomb squad really only has two players in it at the start of this season and I think Disasi might well take up a loan.

A lot of us are assuming that the FOS sponsor deal will announced shortly to coincide with an airline launch.

Enzo was excellent last season but he has had a poor start to this season. I’m sure he will get back to his best sooner rather than later.

I have said many times that I believe our current owners acted to quickly in making changes but I do believe that a complete change was needed. I see our spend as an investment and it’s not as if it has zero value.

I think the only genuine bomb squad member we have now is our odd job man, Sterling. i beleive he wants to stay in London, perhaps we can loan him to Leyton Orient.

Tom, have I missed something with an airline launch and a FOS.

Like you Tom they acted too quickly however, grey have with the help of the SD's, built a wonderful young squad. I just hope we stop the revolving door policy and also we give George a real chance now.

Just wondering what happened with the summer update on the Bridge issue unless I also missed that one.

We just have to pray that Pedro stays fit as Guiu so raw at EPL level leave aside Champions League. Would be v disappointing indeed if this were to become another season when Neto or Palmer have to play false 9 for a series of games becuase Pedro is injured and Guiu not up to it. Plus Delap even when back - in a couple of months time or so - may have to be reintegrated cafrefully in terms of gane time.
