OK yes Ake might be a good shout in terms of LC cover as is EPL hardened and experienced plus ex-CFC so familiar with the Bridge and still only 30. But may not fit progile club wants ie probably someone younger.

You're right about Ake's age and experience being useful in dressing room - and on the pitch in degense where much needed - but also that such a signing not likely to happen.
