Barcelona's Raphinha [27] is open to leaving Barcelona and returning to England. Chelsea were interested before, does any interest remain?

{Ed002's Note - Not from Chelsea.}

I would rather hope not seen as he turned us down to join them.

Not for me, he was never Barcelona quality.

Rhianna had a chance to join us or Barca, he made a choice, which has not worked out, another mistake made and the consequences that will follow . He is no longer the next big thing, and is no longer wanted by the elite clubs out there! Sorry dude, you overated yourself and under performed at the highest level, Good luck!

I really don't care if he rejected us but can he improve us, I believe yes. he's been Barcelona best player I the ucl this season. Especially late in their campaign. Would think he's on our list to replace sterling but could demand huge wages. Many of us would still want tchoumani who did same to us transfer wise. Madueke plays in the right wing with only a promise but will largely be inconsistent. He's also epl proven experience. Can and dribble with long range shots. Maduke and mudryk can learn more. He can be a good fit for us.

Raphinia another player who thinks he is better than he is. If he is not good enough for Barcelona he is not good enough for us. Wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.

I guess it depends on “your definition of big club. ”.

Barcelona are definitely one of the two big clubs in Spain and top five in Europe.

Does that mean we are a “big club. ”.

Tom, I imagine people will have their own definitions of what is a big club. There are a number of factors: history, recent trophies, financial power/ profits. We are probably still a big club for now but things can change. Nottingham Forest and Leeds were once big clubs but not anymore.

I have no doubt we are a big club. I also have no doubt we act like one.

Madueke is better than Raphinha. Well at least the way he’s improving under Poch anyway.

Tom, it must be good to have no doubts about things. Seriously, on issues like this I think it is how others perceive the club; not Chelsea supporters. It is likely that a lot of Spurs fans believe they support a “big club “: which, of course, isn’t the case.

Jimbo, I have doubts about thousands of things but us having become a big club and global brand isn’t one of them.

How others perceive our club is up to them and I will let’s spuds supporters self determine if they are a big club.
