Sorry Melbourne-suggest you reread my post. You seem to be trying to answer your own points rather than the ones I made.
However, not a problem. I was only trying give you a little more information.
What makes you think Chelsea will be in the Premiership in 2017? Not being nasty, but that is pure speculation as is the suggestion every transfer window that Luke (plus another 5 or 6 players) are desperate to leave.
Yes, I do try and correct the Chelsea fans each transfer window because they keep making the same mistake! Will they be correct one day in the future? Who knows, but I certainly don't see it any time soon!

I have provided you with my opinion, based upon a little more knowledge than seems to be around your site-or within the BBC. As I said, the future is impossible to predict-Champions League football next season for instance!? Will Luke be away in Brazil in the summer and considering whether he would have made it if sat on the Chelsea bench? Not going to happen? Think Walcott.
I would suggest you start to ignore the medias attempts to unsettle our young players. It is the way of the modern world, we all know it, but Cortese will have his own way of dealing with that. The Milan story is very old news and has been refreshed for a purpose, as was the "Chelsea supporter" story.
I'm just waiting for the next story that fracking will destroy Hampshire so St. Marys will no longer be able to host football!

There is no possible or probable transfer of Luke Shaw this January, to Chelsea, Man. City, Man. Utd. etc, etc.
I suspect if Chelsea have already made an offer they will have been told this.
At the moment I would expect this situation to be the same for the summer but we all know that a lot changes with time. IMO Luke will not be wanting a move by the time Chelsea need to recruit a new LB so I suspect you will need to "shop" elsewhere.

I made the point that Shaw would not move to Chelsea, he should stay at Saints a while longer and thought he was bright enough to realise the latter. I was wrong on the third part but not too worried about that-his loss is Ryan's gain and if Woy visited spec savers our current LB would be England's first choice and Luke would be having to do a lot of work to get above him.
You may be correct about Morgan and Arsenal but I hold a suspicion that a move in the summer could take him out of the EPL, and RoKo could convince him that would be better for his future-especially if RoKo was to follow a season or so later!

Don't worry Aron. Very unlikely Morgan will end up at Arsenal. Yes, he wants to play CL, but he is also keen to play for a club that has a chance of winning it!
They have an interest, Morgan is French and so is AW, so the media have ended the story there. There will be a number of other clubs after him, and I suspect he will have better options.
Well Tk, as he has increased by £5m according to you in 2 days, you have no chance of meeting his cost by the summer!
Whether you OFFER £30m for Shaw is hardly the point. As the clubs owner and the manager have said in the last few days NO PLAYER IS FOR SALE. I should suggest you take notice of them rather than the media who have shown this week they do not have a clue about Saints.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of the season. I'm sure we will be having similar chats in the summer with different sums being suggested.
Well, Roweycfc, "people" have said you will buy him-so don't accuse me of ranting when you can't get your basic facts correct. Why do you think it is that both the player and the Saints manager have made their positions very clear in the last couple of weeks if this was not the case?
IF Shaw finally leaves Saints (which summer?) it will NOT be to Chelsea whilst there is any vestige of competition with Cole (is he suddenly going to retire after Brazil?) That would be a toxic situation for Luke and he is intelligent enough to appreciate that.
Perhaps it might be worthwhile to consider-would it not be better to invest the £30m, or more, in finding a solution to taking your own under 18s and 21s into your first team squad? Your lads compete well enough at that level with our lads but then seem to disappear. One has recently joined our Academy and suddenly looks a real prospect, so something is missing-perhaps its hope?
Anyway, do enjoy Christmas-because 2014 is going to start badly for you!
