just looking forward now to tomorrow night. I know we still have the same players as when AVB was there but it will be interesting to see what team the new boss selects and if he has any different ideas re who he selects and the system he is going to play. I really do hope he can get the best out of the players.

Would mourinho want to work for roman again? The reason I think he left in the first place was roman had to much hands on and he still is now and will be in the future Jose won't come back to work in those conditions he likes to be the main man and he once said you should never go back, and I think he is right the only way he might go back is if roman sold IMO.

kev {Ed018's Note - they get on just fine now and Jose always speaks fondly about Chelsea, but its to early to say if he'd actually come back now}

Believable3 Unbelievable5

They might get on, but Jose won't want someone telling him what to do the two of them have big egos it would end in tears Jose would quit with in two or three years like he always does.

I think that RA has been in the business long enough now to realise some of his mistakes, but I don't think he's been happy since JM left. I think he has full trust in JM and would happily let him run the place and take a step back. Which I think is probably what he'd prefer. As a Chelsea fan, I don't have a problem with RA, I think our problem lies between the manager and RA. We've lost some quality staff at Chelsea in, Steve Clarke, Brendan Rodgers and Ray Wilkens, and these are only the more public ones that I'm aware of. I can't see stability without Mourinho, I just can't see it.

There is a rumor doing the rounds to the effect that Abramovic is in Vienna tonight to meet with the German team manager Joachim Lowe.

Only one man for the job in my eyes and that's Jose mourinho.I also think the club have that view as well,otherwise we would not be waiting until the end of the season.Especially when the next four months are so important for us regarding champions league for next season.
I also believe roman relises he made a huge mistake by getting rid of him.Putting mourinho back in charge would give the fans and the team a huge morale boost which has been lacking for a while now.I don't really see any other managers who could not only come in a start working towards a better future,but also still compete for the big trophies now.Lets start again with the best manager in the world in mourinho,let him purchase his own players,taking control of team affairs alone.Mourinho loves Chelsea and Chelsea love him.Im sure with the backing of money,mourinho can work his magic and bring success back to our club.I don't really want to second guess another manager as I hope the club have the common sense to bring Jose back.
Another ex Chelsea legend I would like back is arjen robben,who is apparently not happy at the moment in Germany.Surely it makes sense,mourinho leaving Madrid at the end of the season.wanting to return to England.Chelsea are manager less and our waiting until the summer to appoint someone.It must be,it's got to be the return of the special one :)

I agree with that, let him bring Ronaldo with him
Come on roman you no it makes sense

hey ed, have chelsea considered jurgen kloop to be the next manager of chelsea? i think he would be great! {Ed002's Note - I have no idea. There is no point in asking any such questions just yet.}

ED would Joachim Loew be a contender to be the new manager? or will the club not take that route again? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea. There is no point in asking any such questions just yet.}

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Is there a preferred Choice? {Ed002's Note - Give me a break - this is completely wasting my time.}

Now that AVB has been sacked :( does that mean we have no interest in Hulk,Moutinho, Pereira etc. Thank you boss

Mo {Ed002's Note - There has never been interest from any club in Hulk at the price Porto would ask. Moutinho was of interest before AVB joined. Pereira was briefly considered to replace Zhirkov, but that is all. The on going interest has been in Fernando.}

Hi edd do u think theres any chance of a ray wilkins return cos forget the manager senario i think things started to go to pot when he was pushed out {Ed002's Note - No, it is not likely.}

What would you say the likely hood is that Chelsea may look to mourinho as a replacement for avb in the summer? Or is roman not a Jose fan anymore {Ed002's Note - Please read the other posts.}

I'm pretty certain the club will go for the widely speculated one(s). Do you think someone like DD will be considered Ed2?
JG {Ed002's Note - No, Dion Dublin is of no interest to Chelsea as the new manager.}

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Is the problem with Mourinho's return to Chelsea that he may want to control all things football like how Jorge Valdano was removed from his position at Madrid? may that be a problem? {Ed002's Note - There is a long way to go but if he were to return there would be agreements reached about responsibilities.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you think AVB will take over at Inter ED? {Ed002's Note - Not certain but I would doubt it. I suspect Capello is a more likely option to replace Ranieri.}

Agree0 Disagree0

DD....Dwaine Dibley??

Who do you think will be the next manager. and who would you like to be the new manager?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I hope its not rafa. would liove to see the special one back which could happen since there is reports of unrest in madrid. and since he loves to leave hours after winning titles. if he wins both champions league and the spanish league hes coming to london but will he go to spurs? Pep is a good manager but would hate to see a team who dive as bad as barce. what do you think ed? {Ed002's Note - Guardiola and Mourinho would be the first choices for the owner but availability and their interest is another matter. The main priority is to get through the rest of the season right now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Heart says Mourinho (If not then Moyes), gut unfortunately says Benitez.

Ed do you think that guardiola or mourinho will only come if we have championsleague next year or will they be too big for a club who arent in europes biggest competition? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea about Guardiola but suspect it would not bother Mourinho.}

With avb gone do u reckon ed tht lukaku n other youngers Get more of a chance, n even de Brunye next year? {Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Why do people think AVB was not giving these players a chance.
Most of our youngsters are not ready yet, and it would be very hard to explain why you would leave both drogba and torres on the bench for an 18 year old who has not looked that great.

Agree0 Disagree0

When the youngsters are ready (and good enough) then they will be given a chance....regardless of who the manager is. Of course, a number of the 'old guard' need to be moved on in the summer to facilitate the transition too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember that,we are being beaten by young players from other teams why not ours?

Ed, will Chelsea draw up a shortlist of managers they want? And if so will you be informed who they are?

FT9 {Ed002's Note - I think it is being reasonably well reported what the preferences are already. What nobody knows is how achievable they are.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Would Rafa be one of these names? {Ed002's Note - It seems unlikely to me.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed,could you give us names? I don't want to speculate!

FT9 {Ed002's Note - The preference is as reported for Guardiola or Mourinho as is being repoorted, but obviously desire and availablility come in to it.}
