Eds do you expect a deal for kramaric to be finalised by chelsea early next week.

Eds or anyone in the know (Im thinking Aron is normally pretty knowledgable) but could anyone give an unbiased sort of assesment of Kramaric. i'm normally pretty good, but I don't really know anything about him. Anything I read seems to have the tint of being massively over hyped. Just want an honest opinion on what he is like. Thanks in advance

I really doubt that might help you regarding Kramaric. Both footed striker almost six feet tall. There is no doubt concerning his talent. He has fantastic goal record in 2014. Majority of Croatian papers are convinced that he is practically already Chelsea player. Kramaric was quite efficient in European competition this season. Is he capable to adapt to PL is hard to say. Just recently he started to play for Croatian NT.For 7.5m£ he would be good signing.

Looks a good talent. But if he's guna be 3rd choice striker when Drogba presumably joins the coaching staff what is guna happen with Bamford?

Guys I understand you all like Koke for cm but I think the right wing has become more a problem for us. Willian is so obvious, all our attacking and dribbling comes from Hazard and Fabregas down the left hand side and soon teams are going to get on to that. Willian's one of mourinho's favourites and he would be a great squad player. If we could sell Schurrle and sign someone like Pedro, Reus or Cuadrado it would really benefit us. Matic and Fabregas are a quality settled central midfield with Mikel, Ramires and Ake as backup.

Would anyone like too see Oscar revert back to the wing to give us more creativity?

And Ed is there any interest in Pedro?

Pedro and Cuadrado are not has good has Willian and Oscar cannot play out wide he doesn't have the pace. I personally think Willian has come on leaps and bounds this season don't see why we should go fork out 30/40 mil for a player when it just inst necessary especially when we have players in the acadmy capable of being back up, the CM/CDM is somewhere we need to strengthen with Mikel and Ramires both likely to leave we need to get that sorted. but in all honesty I think most people on here would agree now the team is in a good place i'd rather not go out and buy for sake of it. if we were to bring anyone in it should be top top talent i.e Pogba, Koke, Reus because I strongly believe we are 1 or 2 of these extra special players away from being in the same competitive bracket has Madrid, Barca and Munich.

I honestly believe were better than Barca because they're poor defensively. I think we're on the same level as Bayern. I think we'd be better than Real if it weren't for Ronaldo also were that good.

IMO Bayern is a level above us. They're really really good

Not sure what Willian you've been watching this year but he has been outstanding! His work rate is excellent he has pace he can dribble and finish! None of the players you mentiond are an improvement! There's a reason jose plays him regularly!

Exactly, Jose plays Willian because he is a top class player, brilliant on transition from defence to attack, works hard, pacey, skillful and gives great balance to the team. Agree totally with everyone who say we only need to add 2/3 players of immense ability, Pogba, Varane and a replacement for Drogba in the Summer. Sell Salah, Schurle and maybe Ramiries and replace them with Ake, Traore and either T.Hazard or Piazon.

{Ed008's Note - Willian "top class player" you still drunk from Christmas Day? He is nothing but average for me no end product at all to his game just rated because of his ability to get the ball quick from defence to attack as you've said. I feel for Schurrle no doubt he's a very good player as seen when he plays with Germany seems the adjusting to tactics under Jose is hurting his style of play.

Agree with you there ed I'm really appreciative of Willian's work rate but once he gets in the oppositions half he seems to forgot what he's suppose to do. It's easy to criticise Schurrle I suppose but he didn't do anything bad that's what I don't understand? Schurrle has lost his confidence due to not playing. I think he just needs a good run of games to get back.

Willian is top draw! He works unbelivable hard for the team. creates a lot brings in Costa to play he might not score many fair enuf but there's no denying he's talent! Shurrle is a good player I'd hate to see him go as he brings a lot. Altho he is guilty of wasting possession at times and shooting Unessisarally still a fabulous talent to bring off the bench and compete with Willian

I think the thing with Willian are his biggest strengths are seldomly displayed. As you said he has a fabulous work rate but how many games do the other team really push our wingers back to defend. He is really good in transition but most teams only send 4 people forward making it extremely difficult to mount a counter attack. I think Willian would look phenominal in a team such as palace that plays extremely deep. I agree he's a very good player but his best traits make aren't utilized by our club. And if you think he's as good as Reus were going to have to agree to disagree.

Ed08, appreciate your view but don't agree. Willian gives so much to the balance of the team and Jose (I think you would agree he knows more than you or I), seems to agree. If he added goals he would be among the very best in the world. Never the less, it's about opinion.

{Ed008's Note - He gives to the balance of the team I agree with that but it's often left Hazard or Fabregas being relied on to create the chances for themselves or Diego Costa. 6 goals and 6 assists for a player in his position for me is extremely poor in my opinion. Compare that to Schurrle who has 12 goals and 2 assists since joining Chelsea last summer just like Willian.
Willian contributes to the defensive shape especially on the counter-attack I think we can all see that but he's not doing enough for me going forward compared to Schurrle.

Willian is simply not good enough! (to think Sanchez went for similar money) we need a winger to be a winger. Chance creation and goals are what we need in that position and he simply does not do enough of either. I would like us to sign a new winger and midfielder to play alongside matic we would the push fabregas upfield.

To think Willian cost 30 million . I could find one of tovar for 3 pound 50!!

Slight over exaggeration but you get the point. You need not than just work rate and pace to make it at chelsea imo.

We shouldn't sell KDB and buy Willian for 32m£.But what is done is done. We have to move on.
