Rumours suggesting Barcelona are after David Luiz for 35 million. No money can buy him.

Supposedly they have been scouting him for a while. His style would definately suit La Liga but I am 100% with you on this Shak, he needs to stay until retirement.

Agree with you guys. We just have to be stubborn with Luiz because its likely that Barcelona will be knocking as he probs would be a perfect replacement for Puyol.
He is going at some point in my opinion but maybe not this summer .
They need a replacement for Puyol and he is the ideal candidate.
What player would turn down Barca for Chelsea in its current state of flux ?

I believe if Torres is given a run of games with those guys he'll be scoring regularly. But we need to start with all of these players in every game possible. They can save this season and are a great platform for next season.
This has to be the last year for a few of the older players so we will be adding a few. I'd love to see us sign Hulk, VDW, Falcao and Javier Mascherano.
I agree that Luiz is close to untouchable, would be interesting to see if a player was put in as part of the deal...say Pedro or Thiago? That wouldn't make is a simple no, would it?

Luiz is one of the most gifted players I have ever seen, i dont care that he makes mistakes, the guy gives his all every game unlike some of the squad. I would love him to stay at the bridge for many years.
