I am afraid Ryan is not good enough for Premiership football, he is barely good enough for Nottingham Forest, he is no kid either, at 21 he should have shown more quality by now, luckily for us Ashley is still looking fresh.

Hey ed, i was wondering why don't chelsea make a move for luka modric what a talented player & he wud cost 15-20 million, what an fantastic addition he wud be to the squad as tottenham play him out of position every week

You are dead right Ed, Spurs paid close to 17m for him, he would cost at least 10m more. Then Chelsea would have to up his wages by at least 10k a week to 80k a week, so he would cost around 30m.
I hate to break some hearts but those days are now gone, Roman still has to reduce the squads wage bill, this means players will be leaving rather than coming in.

Nah he has already said he would prefer a move to england, and with man united likely to get defour and henderson i highly doubt they will move for him, real madrid welcome back kaka in a month or so and expect them to try and sign javier pastore as a no1 target

Hey ed, with bayern now again linked with bosingwa, chelsea may sell him to bayern but use bosingwa as bait to land schweinsteiger which wud cut the price of him by 12 -15 million pound what's your take ? {ed's note - 12-15m for Bosingwa? Maybe 2 or 3 but he has barely played in a year, he is not a young player either, ok maybe 4 or 5m but I don't see them giving any more for him. Do you not think Schweinsteiger will end up in Spain playing for Jose anyway?}

He can speak to other clubs in January and agree a deal, like Chamakh did, because he is under 24 we will be entitled to around a 1-2m Development fee (compensation), we had to pay City 3.5m rising to a possible 6.5m for Sturridge as he was at City from the age of 13, Kakuka has been at Chelsea for just 2 years so it should be a third of that.
