Which strikers are we generally interested in Ed?
There was obvious interest in Rooney and J.Martinez. We missed out on Cavani and Lewandowski looks out of reach. Suarez looks set for Madrid at some point and Benteke signed a new contract @ Villa. You said you don't see us following up on Rooney and Martinez is too expensive. So where do you see interest? Benzema? Douglas Costa? El Shaarawy?
It's the one area we're weak and I'd love to know who we're looking at. Thanks Ed {Ed002's Note - Yilmaz is a good option still and he fits the bill for a January move.}

Hello Ed. I'm again curious about our deep midfield.
Do you see Lampard given another 1 year extension or is this year really his last?
Will Essien leave after the end of the season? One would think so given he's hardly even on the bench these days.?
Anyways, all in all, we could be looking at 2-3 deep mids leaving next summer(Lamps, Essien, possibly Mikel or MVG going on loan after the injury). Let's say Romeu will not return to the club. Will we be looking to buy more than one DM or will it be the case of buying only one and promoting maybe Josh, Chalobah, Ake or even Loftus Cheek? Speaking of those youngsters. my opinion is that Josh will never make it at Chelsea, Chalobah long term position is in central defence st Chelsea of course(Terry's replacement), can't see Ake's long term position being in DM, and RLF is still a bit young.
So am I right if I say Imbula, Pogba, Matic and Gundogan are the prime targets for the DM spots and it is possible that 2 of those will be bought?
Sorry for the long post. Thanks for the answer. {Ed002's Note - I would not get so tied up in the "positions" but there remains interest in trying to bring in Imbula if that is possible. The others are players that Chelsea have shown interest in. Right now this will be the last season for some players but extensions will be discussed when the time is right - which isn't now.}

Gundogans's the best player to replace Lampard in my opinion, him and Ramires would make the ours the best midfield in the league. Although I would like Matic back to replace Essien and then a young player like Loftus cheek brought through to replace mikel

I really don't see the point of Imbula when we have Chalobah. Go out and get world class talent like Gundogan or Pogba - if neither are available give youth a chance! {Ed002's Note - Clubs need to keep their options open. It seems to be a waste of my time explaining the situation.}

Lamps, ess and mikels last season. Time to move on, every year we wait, is another were gunna take to gel the team. Ramires, van ginkel. Imbula, gondogan. Then bring either challobah, mceachran through. Lofts cheek could do with a loan first. Even try playing Oscar in midfield.

Morning Ed, I've seen quotes today relating to Lewandowski saying he'd like to play in the PL one day. The inevitable question now is; are things with Bayern done and dusted there or could there be scope for a late offer from another club? {Ed002's Note - Nothing is "done and dusted" with Bayern. I have explained that repeatedly.}
