Hi Ed, do you think chelsea might try and sign Blaise Matuidi in January?
{Ed002's Note - Napoli, Juventus, Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid would like to take Matuidi for free when his contract expires at the end of June 2014 - but I suspect either a new deal will be signed once his old and new agent stop bickering, or that a decent sized bid will be made to take him to London or Naples in January.}

Ed, am I right in assuming that there would be no attempt to bring Daniel Sturridge back to the bridge? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about, sorry.}
1.) That has got to be one of the most ridiculous questions I have seen on this site.
Good enough for Liverpool maybe but not for a top European club like us.
2.) Such a foolish statement hobs. Torres was good enough for liverpool and not for Chelsea I guess too. Have you even watched the EPL this season? Sturridge is not only scoring classy goals he's great with possession too. And he's only what, 24?

Hi ed, 2 questions here:
1. Which teams are looking at Zakaria Bakkali of PSV?
2. Are we still interested in Nicolas Nkoulou? {Ed002's Note - Bakkali was a player Manchester United wanted to take but the kid is focussed on playing regularly. N'koulou has been looked at by Chelsea but the club has not spoken with Marseille about him. There is interest in him from elsewhere.}

I think if we don't get Matic back, we should learn from it. Nobody said a word when he left us but now he's playing well and people are saying 'forget about the price' and 'he's the player we need'. Maybe this should teach us to look at our own players first before swapping them for others.
1.) Chelsea should pay for it, there is no better way to learn the lesson long term.
I am sure we would not sell DeBruyne.

would anybody straight swap mata for paul pogba? like hypothetically, if it was possible.
1.) Yes sir, I would.
2.) I love mata and don't want to see him leave. However if Jose does not want him then I am sure many of the other top European clubs will. I am sure it will be a major plus in our favour, to allow Jose to get the player he wants, and to include mata as part of any deal. That is if mata wants to leave, and move to France or Italy or back to Spain.
3.) No way .
4.) 100% yes in a heartbeat.
5.) Yes with Cash, Mata isn't going to get in this team with Mourinho as Manager, might as well upgrade a position of need.
6.) Yes I would anyCFC.
And PB I think we'd have to give cash plus Mata for Pagba. Ok Mata is easier on the eye than Oscar but Oscar is the much better all round player. We have so much potential in that position. Look at Piazon, he's sort of becoming their leader in Vitesse and is much like Oscar, as in he fights for every ball (a Jose player). As good as Mata is, he is not a Jose player and never will. So a Pogba, Mata swap is much to my liking.
7.) If oscar doest reach 20 goals 36 assists in all comps jose got it wrong. west brom & newcastle proved we needed mata, so to sell him too another topside is suicide and a disgrace. oscar was poor for a couple games just like ivanovic, still no chance for mata or dave to play rb.
8.) BLUEBOY,
What if Oscar gets 10 goals and 10 assists and plays most games. Mata only gets a hand full of games but gets around the same stats. BUT we end up winning the PL, CL and FA cup.
Would Jose have got it wrong still?

9.) Hey guys. Liverpool fan here in peace. We are missing a top midfielder I feel. And mata would be the dream. But, I know he would not be sold to us for straight cash. This wouldn't happen, but how much cash would you give with mata (if any) for luis Suarez? I don't want Suarez gone but I'm sure it'll be harder and harder to keep him. {Ed002's Note - There is perhaps a slim chance that Mata could go out on loan in January but there is no suggestion of an exchange for Suarez.}

That's crazy! He can still be a big player for us even with limited game time. {Ed002's Note - Have somebody read the words to you slowly.}
Hopefully he sees that madrid aswell have so much competition for that position; Illarimendi, Khedira, Casemiro, Modric, Ramos can play there and Nuri Sahin returning from Dortmund.
Costa's stats these last few seasons have been excellent for a back up/loanee. Drogba was a year older or the same age as him when we signed him and his stats at the time were no where near costa's level in the seasons before. Costa's banged in more goals than Cavani and Falcao this season (fair play he's been injured) in a harder league. You people who are judging him on 2 games have probably only seen him in those 2 games! He's a great talent and only going to get better would be an unreal signing.
Definately need a striker in January.
I would like to see David Luiz back in the side maybe alongside Essien, still has a lot more to give and perhaps he could be the one to link the deep midfielders with the more attacking ones.
