I think we will sign Ruddy as back up keeper and Van Ginkle in midfield. A young centre back and a striker are therefore needed. Mangala is preffered choice but Porto are difficult to deal with so could be someone else. I don't think Cavani wants to play for us as he seems to prefer madrid and I still think dortmund will cave in and sell RL to bayern so my guess is we will go for Rooney.

GJ COYB

1.) I believe Rooney is prime target all other strikes are second choice. Also I think Chelsea will sign RWB to back up Azpilicueta, Luke Shaw who will join in summer 2014, v. Ginkel who might spend one season on loan to play regulary. I doubt Chelsea will sell Torres and Mikel, but one striker will either go on loan or will be sold as well as most probably Moses.

2.) There is so much wrong with that comment I don't know where to begin.

3.) Ruddy wuld be a good back up for chelsea. Mikel needs to go as I do not think he is worth a place any more. If I coud pick a forward it woyld b lewandoski any day an would poss b a lot cheeper than cavarni an would b better suited to prem

Team I would like to see. Cech. Dave. Luiz. Terry. Cole. Van Ginkle. Oscar. Willian. Mata. Hazard. Lukaku
With Ramiries or Essien replacing Oscar in the '2' against the powerful sides like man city

GJ COYB

1.) Don't u think you should put one more defender to complete your 11

2.) Too many attacking players mate. Not enough balance, mind on paper that's still a fantastic team

3.) Apart from Dave dunno who that is.

4.) Dave is Azpilicueta.

5.) I thought Dave Mustaine

Essien and Marco look like the holding midfielders with Lamps and Rami off the bench. Luiz and JT with Cole and either Dave or Branna with Hazard Mata and either Oscar or De Byrune plus Rooney or Lukaku/FT looks like some team.

GJ COYB

1.) Something like this?

--------Cech--------

Azp--JT--Luiz--Cole

---Essien---Van G---

KDB----Mata---Hazard

-------Lukaku-------

We have so many good players it seems so hard leaving players like Oscar Schurrle Lamps on the bench. But we have great options for rotations, more offensive and more defensive style players to setup against different teams.

Although this is the sort of team I can see starting against Hull on the first day, can't wait!

2.) Van ginkel is not a defensive midfielder.

3.) Nice team.
maybe Oscar for Van G

4.) No he's not, Essien is though, v. Ginkel is a box to box playmaker, which is why they're both there.

And yeah Oscar will obviously rotate/sub throughout the season just an example of one team we could put out

5.) Just because they play two centre mods deep doesn't mean one of them can't be defensive, you could play two box to box miss if u wish.

As much as I would like Jose to return I just don't think it will happen. I would also like Zola but don't think he's ready yet for a high profile job. Poyet might be a better bet but then who? Pellegrini seems to be flavour of the month but is he really the long term answer? Considering the way we go through managers maybe Rafa should get another year PROVIDING we make top 3 or 4 and win a Cup/s! The younger players appear to respond to him and he can deal with the big ego's and although not popular with a large section of the fans who cares if we are winning and building a bright future.

GJ COYB

1.) Why would poyet be ready but not Zola?
At least Zola has managed in the prem before.

2.) Sorry mate but rafa is a no go, strange team selections and bizarre substitutions (is Beanayoun really the best option we have?) he will never have the fans backing and that is crucial. He has however done an ok job so far but the jury's out till the end of the season. Personally I want hidink or mourinho.

3.) The waiter is not the man for the job!

4.) If not Mourinho then Hiddink or Pelligrini. Even Ancelotti, although I doubt that will happen.

My team Tonight.
Cech
Cezar
JT
Luiz
Bertrand
Ake
Lamps
Moses
Mata

Torres

GJ COYB

1.) Azpi and mata need a rest azpi has played two games on the run and mata looked tired last game

Cech

Ferreira Luiz terry Bertrand

Ramires Lampard

Moses hazard Marin

Torres

CfcBenWxm

2.) My guess is that Mata looked tired as he was recovering from an illness

3.) Cech

Ferreira
Luiz
Terry
Bertrand

Ake
Ramires
Lampard

Moses
Hazard

4.) Rafa will put out the strongest line-up possible. Mata's tiredness in the last match could be due to him recovering from an illness. Azpi will definitely start for me as will Mata.
Cech
Azpi Luiz Terry Bertrand
Ramires Lampard
Moses/Marin Mata Hazard
Torres

I think we, as fans, have a right to know who makes the big decisions on loan players, managerial appointments and transfers in and out of the club? The club have made some huge mistakes this Season with the make up of the squad and inept failure to bring one or two loanees back in January. Is it Mr Gourlay? Mr Buck? Mr Emanalo? At the end of the Season whoever is responsible must surely be held accountable just as the endless list of Managers have been over the years.

COYB {Ed002's Note - There is no point is going in to such detail just to create a blame culture and have folks bleating about things they simply don't understand.}

GJ COYB

1.) They have also brought in Hazard, Oscar, Azpilicueta and we have the best youth set up in Europe from my opinion so it works both ways. Its subjective

2.) To be honest every pub in the world knew hazard was good, it's not hard to see who's worth signing
