just a hypothetical question for everyone so dont take it too seriously. oscar and hazard are currently 21. mata is currently 24. so in 3 years time and if mata could stay the same age and quality (bar any freakish injuries etc) who do you think will be the best player. i reckon hazard, then oscar and then mata which is very scary if im right. the future's bright, the future's blue

Vincent {Ed002's Note - It is not possible for Mata to stay the same age for three years. You need help.}

I think you missed the "hypothetical question for everyone so dont take it too seriously" bit ed

Oscar!

Agree3 Disagree0

If Hazard fulfills his potential, I think in 3 years he will be the best player in the world. Oscar will be an absolute midfield boss and wouldn't be too far behind, and I've have Juan 3rd, which like you said Vincent, is a scary thought.

Luckily it will only be scary for the teams we come up against. Some beautiful football for us fans though, no doubt!

Does anyone else get the feeling that Di Matteo is not in total control of team selection and under pressure from someone higher to pick certain players?
Di Matteo is no mug, he must see that Luiz is a liability and needs to be dropped so why does he not. {Ed002's Note - He picks the team after consideration of the medical staff and in collusion with the coaching staff.}

Seeing Bony on YouTube I think he looks good, strong quick and good infront of goal, won't be expensive and won't kick up fuss being second choice striker

How did we make €36m in the transfer market in spite of our huge purchases?
Bas!cs. {Ed002's Note - You need to look at the dates involved.}

The players we brought in, during the last transfer window, are not taken into consideration for the financial year ending June.

Ok...these rumours going about are nuts!

Bony is Pony - He is like Kalou on Steroids!
Fernandino and Willian - We have better already.
Jackson (Porto) Hardly proven - NO THANKS

Its time to play with the big boys....

Replace Mikel...Agreed.
Get Fellani, or that chap at Celtic that Utd want.
M'Vila aint seen enough of to recommend.

Striker:
Options... Falcao, Neymar, Damaio, talks of Pato being available!

Midfielders:
Ronaldo, Messi, Iniesta, Modric, thats it.

We have plenty of young lads on loan who are good enough...look at de Bryune wooow...destroying the German league. Josh is mustard if we give him a chance! Anyone know whats happening with Davila the mexican striker we brought?

Believable1 Unbelievable11

Get real. Fellani is not a very good defensive midfielder, Fernandinho is 10 times better.
Tho i would prefer Paulinho.
And strikers, yes i would love to get Jackson from porto!
You cant just buy all the best proven players in the world, this aint fifa or what ever game you are playing and think is reality.

Wilfried Bony is not a bad player he has scored 16 goals in 16 matches. but i doubt IF he is being bought he is to be a long time 1st option, just until we find a better solution to Torres.

Agree7 Disagree2

I know Bony is only doing it in the Dutch league at the moment, but he certainly ain't pony. I live in Holland so have seen and heard quite a bit about him. Drogba looked crap for the first 2 seasons at Chelsea, remember.

Agree4 Disagree1

Fellani is box to box midfielder not a CDM mikel is getting better and better and just signed a new deal ur full of crap

Agree2 Disagree0

I agree Mikel should be replaced. But fellaini no thanks. I like Fernando. But mvilla would be awesome. I really want falcao and schurelle with lukaku as our strike force both 4th being bamford. We have everything else.

Agree1 Disagree1

I'd like wanyama to replace mikel. Only 21 and looked quality vs Barcelona

Jordan

Agree2 Disagree0

Davila is hardly getting game time, and will not become a Chelsea benchwarmer let alone starter.

Is that your Fifa career mode shortlist?

Just like to say as a Chelsea fan we have learn't from our mistakes regarding transfers. Very impressive signings this year all have settled nicely except Marin who seems to be injury prone. Bring on January a striker and possibly a holding midfielder. KTBFFH

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Not just the players we got it but de bruyne who is paid for and ready for next year, courtios too lukaku,

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we did very well this transfer window, a defensive midfielder would have been great tho and the strikers they wanted wasent avaible. i cannot see they did any mistakes in the transfer window, Marin is known to have alot of injuries that was why he didnt cost alot, so it was just bad luck he did get one at this time.
If we do not get a striker in january transfer window, i would like to see them recall Lukaku and use him as first choise.

Agree0 Disagree1

Actually Marin did get injured last year I think and it was actually quite a lengthy injury. It's why Chelsea got him so cheaply.

Hello Ed, is there a reason why Chelsea do not have football talent camps or what ever they're named in Brazil? Quite alot of good players come down there and it would be a great place to find them.

And one thing more "IF" Chelsea signed Paulinho & Neymar, i could imagine that would benefit Chelsea in alot of ways for example - Alot of Brazilian players prefer the warm countries such as Spain/Italy as its closer to their colture. But when we have this amount of Brazilian players they would feel more welcome and getting help adapting to the culture and language, aswell as quite a few of them know eachother and play very well together from their national teams already.
I could see this as an HUGE advantage for when players get offers from different clubs, as i am quite sure they would prefer Chelsea over City if we had a good ammount of Brazilian players to welcome, help and integrate them and their wifes. {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have good relationships with Brazilian sides and a regular presence there.}
