Gael Kakuta- There's simply no room for him and loan after loan is just delaying the inevitable. Rennes are interested and an offer of 4.5 million pounds would maybe be accepted.

Jeffrey Bruma - Again, no room for him. PSV Eindhoven are interested and they are looking to buy, not loan. A 5.5 million maybe?

Billy Clifford- Will never get into the first team.1 million to Colchester?

Sam Walker- Same thing. 500k to Scunthorpe United?

DeLaRusso

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You think Colchester have 1 million to spend on players? Likewise 500k Scunthorpe?

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree that fringe players that clearly will never play a role will get moved on but most of those numbers are a touch realistic.

Tk

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Colchester and Scunthorpe pay that money for players who are more likely to be released than sold - not that they even have that money to spend!

Ulises Davila - Osasuna are in dire need of some goal scoring threats and creative play. They want him to inject some youth and passion into their team and it will be good experience for him.

Patrick Bamford - Watford need someone to partner Deeney with Vydra's loan from Udinese over and his desire to play in the Premier League could lead to a sale or another loan elsewhere. Patrick needs to stay healthy.

Nathan Ake- It's time for more than just an appearance here and there. He needs time on the pitch and lots of it and at a higher level. Loan to Watford in hope of getting the minutes Nathaniel got.

Nathaniel Chalobah- Probably would have kept him at Watford had they received promotion but unfortunately they did not. Needs to get into Premier League. He can go to Stoke on a season long loan and boss that midfield.

DeLaRusso

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wouldn't you want Chalobah to play in a midfield that's actually gets used during a game? Stoke just play the long ball. I'd rather he develops at a club that plays some decent football

Franco

Agree0 Disagree0

Stoke used to play long ball. Who knows what they will do this season.

Kalas- Needs to be in a tougher league. In a team like Sunderland and see how he fares in the Premier League.

Kane - Will be staying at Blackburn.

PvA- Vitesse want him back and they have agreed to sell Chelsea two players as well so keep on the good relantionship.

Matej Delac - Could use a more aggressive loan and Millwall are interested on a season long loan and maybe he can become their first choice keeper.

Kenneth Omeruo - impressed in the African Cup of Nations and will be one for the future without a doubt. Loan with Hamburger on a season long.

George Saville - Loan to Middlesbrough and help them seek promotion.

Andreas Christensen - Loan to Porto for the season. Porto is a fantastic club that will treat him well.

DeLaRusso

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Porto will do much better than Christensen who might be too young for a loan but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Romelu Lukaku - This will probably be his last loan spell and it will include a recall clause in January. Swansea need a pure striker and they will also be in the Europa League. If he can bring the heat two years in a row in the Premier League he will be the number 9 for years to come.

DeLaRusso

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No loan for Lukaku. Mourinho said so.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can ditch Torres and ba there's no reason for him to go anywhere else.

Lucas Piazon- Malaga just sold Joaquin so it appears as though there is an opening for Lucas. Loan him for the reason and see him flourish in the hole Joaquin has left.

Hi ed, I know twitter and newspapers aren't to be believed but I'd like to know the situation with cavani, have we met the fee and allowed to speak with the player or has it been rejected as stated in papers etc, I value your say more than any other. Thanks. {Ed018's Note - read the posts}

Ed, Le Parisien is reporting we have triggered Cavani's release clause? As I trust you a lot more than any other source (apart from perhaps my own), is there any truth to this or is it more speculation for the future?

Wallace - have a bright future ahead. Vitesse want him to be their direct replacement to Kalas. They have been good to Chelsea and will even be selling one of their young midfielders.

Thorgan Hazard - His loan spell turned out to be exceptional and it is clear he is ready for a step up in competition. He also needs to experience life outside Belgium, so Anderlecht will not be the destination. Vitesse sounds like a good destination, especially since Kakuta will be leaving them now. They could really use his skillset.

Marko Marin- Unfortunately, injuries and piss-poor performances when given the opportunity has made his first year at Chelsea an absolute disaster. He has shown signs that he can get the job done in Germany. He just needs to stay healthy and get on the pitch to showcase his skills. Somewhere where he will have consistent minutes. Crystal Palace are in need of some wide players to stretch the field with Zaha off to Man U and are willing to take him on for the season.

DeLaRusso

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Jun 2013 22:55:58
I've been thinking same. Palace will be a good move for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

To me it depends who we keep in. Piazon should go on loan. If we keep kdb or if we sign another player in that role i'd let him go but if he stays healthy I feel he can be an asset.

Josh McEachran - have shown glimpses of real quality and hopefully can integrate into the squad fairly soon but for now he needs some polishing and the only way to do that is more playing time by sending him to a more competitive league and a better team than Middlesbrough. Norwich and Everton top the list. Best will be Everton, they will be losing Phil Neville and Maroune Fellaini, leaving Ross Barkley, Pienaar, Gibson and Leon Osman as their four first choice midfielders. Barkley is still quite young and raw even though he has loads of potential. If Josh can make his mark there and they are a consistent top 8 team then he will be ready for the big boys and begin to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.

DeLaRusso

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Forget McEachran. not goid enough for chelsea.

Agree0 Disagree0

McEachran will definitely not be good enough for Everton next season!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm lost as to what will happen with josh. If lampard wouldn't have resigned I would think he could've played a role next year. A lot in my opinion will depend on the future status of kdb and Oscar in terms of if they stay at the club and if they stay in advanced positions.

Are Chelsea going to sign a goalkeeper this summer as we are releasing hilarious and turnbull. With courtois saying that he will be back at athletico next season. Will we end up leaving ourselves short of keepers with cech and jamal Blackman who has not got enough experience.

Cech
azpi iva cahill cole
oscar khedira
hulk mata hazard
cavani

sub: blackman, mangala, luiz, ramires, schurrle, lukaku, others

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Swap Luiz or Khdira and it's amazing.

Luiz would start for me over Cahill. I think Jose (like Rafa) is a structured coach which is just what he needs.

I don't think Chelsea will be able to sell Torres.
He won't be willing to leave. He says he wants to stay and he has 3 years left on a contract that pays him £1 million every 6 weeks. Will he get a better deal anywhere else? I doubt it.
He will only move if he agrees to a massive pay cut and of course he will want Chelsea to pay the difference.

We all know what happen to Malouda. he stayed until his fat pay check expired.

DeLaRusso

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think that if he is told by the club that he is not going to be guaranteed week in week out football then he will seek a move away. If we sigh Cavani or another big name striker then we will have (New Striker), Lukaku, and Ba third choice which is a good role for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2013 17:13:30
ed said ba probably going, back to you cali?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think if it came down to it the club would tell him you can stay and never see the field or leave and be happy and he would go due to still being in a stronger part of his career and his desire for involvement with the national team both of which weren't the case with Malouda.

Good luck to In Amin Affane at Cottbus.

A very promising young player who if he keeps his attitude in check could be very good. I really do hope he leaves chelsea wondering why they let him go in the next few years to come.

Rumors have been said Kevin Prince Boateng's agent is in London today, is this true?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Jun 2013 12:08:00
So it look set for a busy summer of transfers for Chelsea. Personally I think all the players we have been linked with would make good additions to the squad:

Eliaquim Mangala- Strong, tall, traditional centre back. Quite pacy and still a lot to learn at only 22. Bit of an asking price though. 10mil less than the 30mil asking price would be good business.

Raphael Varane- So much potential in him. Again a very traditional centre back. Puts himself in the fray isn't afraid to get hurt. May be keen for a reunion with Jose.

Kevin-Prince Boateng (this is quite a recent rumour but I'll still analyse it)- I know probably noone likes him after what he did to Michael Ballack but there's no denying he's a superb talent. Strong, quick, creative and versatile. Would be a fantastic holding midfielder with Luiz or Ramires

Sami Khedira- Again another Real player Jose is keen on having with him at Chelsea. Fantastic CDM. Good reader of the game. Can chip in with goals and a few assists and would definitely be a better alternative to Mikel

Wesley Sneijder- IMO should be rated up there with the likes of the Fabregas' and the Iniestas. Such an eye for a pass. Good shot from distance and a marksman with the dead ball.

Andre Schurlle- I believe this transfer is almost completed. A fantastic young player. I remember watching him at the Euros with Germany and thinking 'why would we want such a ball greedy, chance wasting player' but when watching him in the Bundesliga he looked awesome. Has so much pace, good snaky movement and an eye for a pass. Works very effectively on the left wing as he likes to cut in and shoot.

Edin Dzeko- Tbh I don't really want Dzeko at Chelsea. I think he would be a flop at the club. However, if he was to be a success I think it would be a good signing. A MUCH cheaper alternative to Cavani and could score just as many. If we were to sign him I just hope he can maintain a scoring streak.

Stevan Jovetic- Another brilliant player to be linked with. So pacy and agile. Good movement. I think he would work best just in behind the main striker with Mata and Hazard operating at the sides of him. Would be even sweeter if we were to nick him away from Arsenal.

Hulk- I know Jose would be very keen on this transfer. Kinda like Ronaldo but for less than half the price. Strong, pacy and versatile with a hell of a strike on him. Honestly could play anywhere on the pitch and still be effective.

Edinson Cavani- Save the best till last. Obviously RA will be a bit reluctant to spend 50mil on another striker but tbh FT9 was already on the declining spiral when Roman bought him whereas this guy just keeps getting better. Strong, pacy, energetic, presence in the air, good mover and such a good finishing prowess. I was gutted we lost out on Falcao but Cavani I think would be a more than adequate replacement.

Thought guys and girls

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think what Roman and Chelsea need to realise is that players like Cavani will bring as much money to the club as their transfer fee. Torres was like you said, on a bit of a downward spiral in form before he even joined Chelsea. Cavani is a complete striker just like Drogba if not slightly better. He is a great finisher, comes back to defend and is then up the other end of the pitch in a flash. Not sure about Hulk but we do need a CB, RB, DMF/AMF and a CF. Scott M.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dzeko - smokescreen? Showing Napoli that we could go for another striker. In other words; leverage. Hulk "sort of like Ronaldo. " if only! But I agree would be a lot cheaper. It's all relative - how much dosh are we going to spend. Nice post Talberto.

Good game yesterday from Markovic against Belgium. Being Belgian myself I watched the whole game and he was perhaps the best player on the field for Serbia. He wouldn't be a bad buy and could do a job for us even as soon as next season.

Franco

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's not like he had mirralas de bruyne hazard fellaini witsel to link up with. Markovic had no 1. He's a good player.

Hi eds, do you know if real are prioritising the likes of Suarez instead of Cavani? I guess my fear is that they come in with a late offer. Are there any legs in the mata rumours to real? Maybe they have agreed to back off from cavani if they can have mata if we seal the cavani deal? {Ed002's Note - REal Madrid have a number of targets and are aware that they may not be able to sign them all - hence their looking to others.}

Please ED, tell me the reports of Chelsea swooping for Boateng are FALSE? {Ed002's Note - No idea.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why? he's a good player, better than Mikel.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't realise he was defensive midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

Boeteng is an attacking mid, Mikel is a defensive mid. Why the comparison?

Agree0 Disagree0

There are many Boateng.

He wouldn't play CAM he would play in the pivot. Like he did for tottenham.

Like he did for Tottenham before he was offloaded to Portsmouth where he moved forward which brought the best out of him.
