I don't understand why schurrle's was getting so much stick about yesterday when I thought he played well considering he's had no game time apart from the games against stoke.

When I went to stoke away on December 7th although we lost 3-2 when Schurrle scored 2 I though he was our biggest scoring threat on the pitch and you can't moan about his work rate. I even watched everyone warming up Schurrle, mata, hazard etc and in terms of shooting he was the best there even though it was a warm up. What I like about him is he's a little similar to hazard putting players on the back foot because although Willian has a great work rate (same as Schurrle) he hasn't done what we signed him to do which is, create. I think he deserves a run in the team, Mourinho's been unfair to him IMO He didn't even play him against Derby which was harsh. Hazard needs a rest for the run in so against Fulham I'd go with SALAH - OSCAR - SCHURRLE behind Torres. If we don't give others gametime we can't expect them to perform when they come on.

I agree mate. Schurrle was decent yesterday. I'm fed up with Willian! His passing his 20 touches, slowing our game down, not even a goal threat! He should be dropped and schurrle a chance given to him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would also like to see schurrle get more games. Oscar has shown fatigue pretty clearly and I think hazards starting to show it as well. Willian had a bright patch for a little bit but overall I agree he's struggled to dictate a game like you would want from a purchase of his financial magnitude.

Jose mourinho in him I believe.

We all believe in Mourinho I just think Schurrle should play more.

Would anybody agree with me that Lewis Baker should get a few starts next season? Looks a great prospect.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If Chelsea next season start putting away their chances and for example, get 2/3-0 up, then maybe some of the youngsters will get a chance off the bench but I don't see them starting any time soon unless it is an easy tie in the Capital One cup. For me it would be nice to see a youngster starting in home games against teams we should win comfortably. If it doesn't work out then Mourinho can always change it at half time but whether he is willing to take chances like that remains to be seen.

If we could have 3 new signings in the summer in the terms of players we need (A LB, a deeplying playmaker, and a world class striker) who would you have too ed?

Here's my three:

SHAW (LB) - quality at the age of 18, I think with him left back and Azpilicueta back to right back we will be really well balanced.

Alternatives:

Rodriguez (Wolfsburg)

GUNDOGAN (CM) - the best player potentially available who would make us world class. So underrated, his passing is world class I just hope he recovers from injury.

Alternatives:

Pjanic (Roma), Rakitic (Sevilla)

MANDZUKIC (ST) - a player I think Mourinho would love. He's 27 at his peak. A prolific striker who also has great off the ball play.

{Ed002's Note - I really have no interest in such things but I am sure others will have an opinion. You might want to look to more than one striker arriving.}

Too be honest I really don't see why we need a left back. Azpi is solid this season their so why move him? Plus van aanholt is ripping it up and by far the best left back in holland. If sign shaw then it's good business and azpi can go to rb. Central defence Cahill terry zouma and kalas Ivanovic. Luiz is a midfielder in my eyes. Then we have ake and challobah coming through the ranks. Midfield get lamps out along with mikel! Matic, luiz, ramires, sign pjanic as I wanted him before he moved to Roma for 8 million, Jose to take mceachran under his wing. Mould him into a decent playmaker from deep. Hazard, schurrle, Oscar atrackers. Willian I don't like never have especially for 30 million unless he can start doing something going forward get rid of him. Slash will come good by next season, can't wait to see more of him. Strikers Torres lukaku and costa. Costa simply because I see falcao being overpriced for his age. Cavani I'm not convinced he will fit. Because he tracks back a lot, don't get me wrong it's good that he does but he does leave the front line far too often leaving no one up top.

Agree0 Disagree0

Could you actually see two world class strikers arriving ed?

I was hoping to see Lukaku as backup but as you've said he may leave.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}

Lb-shaw. He's the only option in my opinion. 25m is a steal for a left back that will be world class for 10 years if not more. We can push azpi back to rb and have more width there because bran doesn't quite do it.

Cm-I really don't think were in desperate need for a major signing. Rami has struggled as of late but he put on crazy miles in the beginning of the season. Matic was exactly what we needed. Van ginkel really excites me and I think he has the tools to be pretty impressive. Maybe bring in a guy who's ok with not being a regular starter and sending mikel anywhere they'll take him and lamps to America is what i'd do.

St-this one troubles me. I like lukaku a lot but understand why jose isn't fond. It's tough because mourinhos system asks the striker to put in a shift which would suggest cavani but he's struggled this year. Diego costa has relatively little sample size. Falcao is older and scares me coming of a knee surgery. Honestly it won't be popular but balotelli will be world class sooner than later and I think he would be the cheapest of the four.

even if we did have a top striker in our team last night, he wouldn't have scored, the problem is we need someone with great vision in our team, like a modric or a andrea pirlo type of players to deliver that killer pass, for me Branislav Ivanovic can't cross a ball for me, mikel to slow, lampard slow to track back and lack some vision /i wonder if mata was in our team last night what would have happen lol

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Like mata? Lol

Maybe josh mceachran should had been moulded into this player instead of flogging him off out on loan playing whilest growing still, which only leads too injury ridden careers. He's the best I've seen in a long time at passing, yet we worry about now instead of the future. And duck modric is well overated for what he does, plus he doesn't score no where near enough.
