I really feel we should turn all our attention and efforts towards securing Paulo Henrique "Ganso". He is a very gifted footballer with a wide range of passing ability but also possess dribbling and ball carrying something i feel our midfield lacks atm. The main stumbling block is whether or not a club is willing to sell or not and in this case from what ive read Santos are willing to Sell. This now comes down to the player, apparently he has expressed an ambition to play for AC Milan which is fair enough but they are in no financial state to be buying the player this year and as things seem Santos cant afford to keep him either. Im hoping with our Brazilian players (Luiz, Ramires) that they can do a "Torres" and persuade Ganso to take a chance at coming to Chelsea, which i think for all parties would be great. Chelsea gets a "potential" world class attack minded midfielder (He isnt world class yet), Ganso gets top level competition week in week out and Champions League football along with a pay increase and Santos get £25m+. If only it was that simple though ha

If you don't think that ganso is "world class" then i ask you, who is? in brazil he is widely considered to be a better prospect than neymar. some people seem to forget or just plain don't know that he was injured for something like 6 months and still came back in time to lead santos to the copa libertadores.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the words World Class are used to easily. Hes a great player in a poor league, you cant say hes world class until hes played against the best of the best week in week out in a top league and Chamions League. Ganso also didnt have the best Copa America and this is the only live football ive seen him play so im not just jumping on the band wagon yet. He is without doubt potentially a very good player but he still has alot to learn and to be tested against top teams.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I hope so and i'm sure i'm not the only that does, i'd rather he doesn't tear us apart in the champions league.

Expect a huge double bid for both ganso and neymar 80-85 mil ganso to join now neymar in january, I would say ganso would be willing to come given that there is a nice brazilian and Portuguese speaking circuit at chelsea atm plus neymar joining him in 6 months time, santos will probably try and convince him to go due to sponsorship issues in keepin both of them this season

Watched the super cup tonight with great interest in Moutinho. I did not see anything, especially that creativity we are yearning for from Moutinho which would make him a good assest to the team. I know it was against Barcelone who have a wealth of creativity and dominate possession. I hope we have other targets.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Seems slightly rash to judge a player on one game, especially against the best team in the world

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he did ok. He took a few good shots and made one beautiful pass to Rodriguez in the first half.

Instead of A.pereira whom we see as a replacement for zhirkov, why don't we have a bid for d 19yr old Rodriguez of Porto,a fantastic left footer.what you think m8s?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

We should definately be looking at him in my opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is the one who started in the super cup then no, we should definitely try and get first crack at iturbe though, i don't suppose anyone knows his buy-out clause?

Agree0 Disagree0

No it was Christian Rodriguez who was starting, who is a but of a plonker

anyone ever wonder if the club watch this page to get a fans version of what we would like to see happen at the club ?
thinkit mite do well lmao {Ed002's Note - Clubs do have people who look at the forums, blogs etc.. They are not interested in the fans view particularly though.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Thats a shame because most Chelsea supporters think Kalou is a joke if he starts saturday I am leraving the ground before kick off

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats the problem with teams most dont take the fans opionion even if the fans have been supporters before they decision makers even had anything to do with thr club

Agree0 Disagree0

Can anyone tell me what the management at Chelsea see in kalou ? My friends that support other teams are constantly winding me up about how poor he his I know most people I sit near at the Bridge don't rate him what so ever and a lot of people think he should wear the calipers on his legs like forest Gump Please discuss

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he can be a useful at times, over the years he has shown he is capable of coming off the bench and scoring vital goals. the only problem i have with him is he is far too inconsistent when given a starting role.

Agree0 Disagree0

If the club listened to all the fans then we would be in trouble as everyone has there own opinions and favorite players

Could modric sue daniel levy for threatning his career by saying him that he would make him rot in stands. Daniel levy is so obsessed in keeping modric. I think he loves him other way.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

No. He's under contract, so contractually tied to the club and it's up to the club what they do with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I Thought slavery was abolished long ago. levy indulging in BONDED LABOUR. shame on u levy.

This modric saga reminds me of ashley cole transfer deal. Arsene was adamant that he won't leave cheap. He was asking awful amount that time and then on last day arsenal dropped their guard and accepted acceptable cash plus gallas. Arsenal fans started calling him CASHLEY. Wonder people would call modric as LUCRE MADE RICH if he gets a last minute move to the bridge.

I think we should not worry much if we don't get creative midfield player this summer. Lampard still has some magic left while joshua could still be our trump card. We have yet to see the best of ramires. Benayoun is not that bad player as people are saying, infact he is better value for money than our supposed target moutiniho.

Question to the Eds and Fans,

out of;

Milos Krasic
Ganso
Modric
Moutinho

Eds; who is most likely ;)

Fans; who would you most like to see

Cheers

Dan1CFC

Believable1 Unbelievable0

All of them would be great additions to our squad however Modric does have EPL experience so I think he would fit in best.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ganso or mourinho

Agree0 Disagree0

I would say ganso but he wants to go to milan, so i'd go with krasic, he is electrifying.

Blue Bear {Ed002's Note - If Malouda leaves it is not because he isn't good enough, it is because of his age.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

What about his crossing, taking players on, how many times he passes side 2 side and we dont get anywhere, and how many times he could of passed to torres but had a shot instead?? got the details for this and u will regret saying that

To all those chelsea sceptics and panickers....we will be bringing in a midfield maestro...watch this space How many times has deadline day brought surprises...Modric may yet still come, irrelevant what 'Harry' has said on SSN and BBC alike, Modric 80% to come or maybe Moutinho....in AVB we trust

Believable7 Unbelievable1

I agree m8, Apparently the David Luiz deal was dead in January and look where he is now. I think we will still add another cb, apparently Vetonghen and a rwb, VDW aswell as a creative midfielder, Modric, Ganso, Moutinho, any of them i would be happy to see in a Chelsea shirt. I also think we will snatch Eden Hazard away from Arsenal like we did with Juan Mata.
Roll on another Manic Deadline Day :)
In AVB we Trust
CFC FOREVER

Agree0 Disagree0

We already have a midfield maestro, young Josh is real quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

Josh is top quality but he isn't ready to be a constant first team starter, i'd like to see him kept out of the spotlight for a while to give him a chance to grow into the player we know he can be.

Don't worry we always do are transfers late in the window it's to try and keep the price down and not give other clubs the time to come in for the player. Take January for example I know it wasn't cheap but benfica Did want 30million for Luiz at the start of the window but we got him for 24 in the end
