Lets be honest it's not looking good on the striker front. Cavani is likely joining City, I have a feeling Lewandowski will join Bayern after Saturdays final and Falcao looks set for Monaco. I'm hoping we can snatch Cavani. I think we will turn to Gomez as an alternative who is a good striker but not the marquee signing we need to spearhead our title challenge. If we do turn to Gomez then i'd prefer to just see Lukaku given a go because for me Gomez is too slow for the premiership. With interest confirmed in Khedira I'm hoping to see him join I think he's the physical presence we've been lacking and alongside Luiz in midfield could be a great partnership. I can also see a push for Luke Shaw this window which would be a great signing then being sent back to Southampton on loan.

Hopefully incoming:

Cavani - If not bring Lukaku back
Schurrle
Shaw
Khedira
A young center back preferably Papadopoulous.

Back From Loan:

McEachran - Give him a chance

Out:

Hilario
Ferreira
Bruma
Benayoun
Essien
Mikel
Malouda
Kakuta
Ba or Torres

Falcao has rejected Chelsea, so it's either Cavani, Lewandowski or a third striker, who do you guys think they'll end up with?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Neither. Lewandoski going to united and cavani to city

burak yilmaz and gomez are the only options availble. fernando torres had made such an excellent exmaple of failure at the club. top strikers doesn't wanna come to chelsea.
dont see any logic of money behind falcao to monaco.

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres, Ba, Lukaku!

Last post is not a joke.

If we miss out on falcao and cavani could Chelsea turn to Ronaldo

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He isn't even a striker for a start.

Agree0 Disagree0

Scores more goals than Torres and ba, Ron mata and haz could take up some of the burden

Found this minutes ago ED " Jose Mourinho wants to sign a minimum of six high-profile players this summer and has Radamel Falcao, Hulk, Eliquim Mangala, Isco, Marouane Fellaini and Andre Schurrle " what's you say on that.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hulk, Isco and Fellaini are pretty much definite No's. Falcao unlikely. Schurrle almost definitely. And I'm unaware of interest in Mangala.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's b*******, he's not even the chelsea manager yet

Agree0 Disagree0

What you found is some bs

Agree0 Disagree0

Jose won't be deciding how many players are brought in. He will have an input too a 'committee' like all managers at Chelsea. I suggest not reading any rags for the next month, as all you'll find is bs story after bs story. Be patient and trust that Ed002 and 018 will keep us well informed.

Put on Chelsea tv watching 2004 and 05 season. And you will see a proper defensive midfielder. Fight fight fight to win the ball. We scored a lot of goals from makellele breaking up play and distributing quickly. Not slowly sideways to lamps like mikel.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well said, never can and will understand how he gets a game.

Am I the only one who thinks yilmaz would be a good signing? I think he's the perfect striker to play in front of mata, hazard & Oscar. He's on the same wave length. Confident infrint of goal, and quick at ahooting does dwell on the ball and links up well. Any one else rate him? BLUEBOY1

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Isnt he 28? I believe the fee is also rather high. I would prefer Aubameyang.

PB1989

Agree0 Disagree0

He's never played outside of Turkey I think, so I have some doubts about him. On the other hand I've never seen the guy play so who would I be to judge him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not sure about him. Never played outside Turkey and his fee has gone up quite a bit. Not sure it's worth the risk considering he's not done anything in the bigger leagues. If he was cheap then i'd consider it otherwise I'd just use Lukaku instead.

Agree0 Disagree0

I haven't seen much of yilmaz but to some extent I think If he is bagging goals in for fun in turkey and I few in champions league he will defiantly be better off with mata Ouscar hazard serving him don't u think. Just my opinion aswell don't think the Portuguese league or the Spanish league is that difficult either to score in so there is a gamble on falcao aswell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I never realised he's 28. What's the asking price on him? BLUEBOY1

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read an article £ 20 million +

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it is around £22 million, and you could probably get aubameyang for the same price who would be my first choice aswell - due to his versatility.

Papers saying we will miss out on cavani falcao and lewandoski.
Really bad news as tink we will struggle without a top top striker

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would imagine we'd go in for Gomez or Yilmaz. Would rather see Lukaku given a chance than miss out on those main three

Personally my preference in order would be Cavani, Lewandowski, Gomez, Aubameyang.

Dont know why I bother reading some of the rubbish in the papers. How is it that now Napoli want Benitez and Torres yet they want to part ex Cavani with Man City for Edin Dzeko who clearly doesn't want to go to Napoli and would rather go to Germany? In an ideal situation, wouldn't Chelsea be swapping Torres and Cavani and then go after another striker? That would be a more cheaper way of dealing with transfers. Not going to read anymore into this tripe, will be very disappionted if we don't get either Cavani or Falcao. Scott M.

Falcao would be heading to Monacco. they would shed a lot of dollars to land him and they have already bagged mountinho.
Cavani would be off to city replacing Dzeko.
Dzeko wanna go to Dortumand to replace Lewondaski which is also possible.
Cant seen either falcao, cavani or lewondaski would be coming to chelsea.
Gomez, Hulk, Yilmaz are the main targets of jose.
Isco would alos be heading to City.
Incase Jose get Varane, that would end the spell of david luiz.

Agree0 Disagree0

Based on what evidence? This is all contrived and hypothetical. Interest in some of these players is well documented on here, but even with that how on earth can you predict 4 days after the end of the season what will happen during the summer transfer window? The site is already descending into farce.

How does everyone feel about Romeu? He looked rather good under AVB but then picked up a knock and never really featured under RDM and he got hurt and therefore wasn't available for Rafa. In my opinion he is much more suited to a 3 man midfield due to the fact that he doesn't cover much ground, is rather slow, and doesn't contribute to the attack. On the positive he does distribute it well from the back and is rather diciplined. I just wonder what his role would be with the logjam we have at centre mid and in my opinion I'd probably look to loan him out.

Tk

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Romeu reads the game extremely well though. Rdm had his favourite people and played his favourite people. I prefer romeu a lot more than I do mikel. BLUEBOY1

Agree0 Disagree0

A Luiz/Lampard/Romeu CDM combination will be good, I really rate him, he's still young and got some real potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

That 3 man midfield is naff. U need a playmaker from deep, defensive and a box to box.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I'd keep him for now. If he doesn't suffer any injuries then he's worth having otherwise I'd ship in out in Jan. Either on loan or permanently.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Romeu is awful.

He might be good at reading the play but he always gives it away and gets caught in possession, I've been at games where's he's started and he's looked way out of his depth, time to move him on for me

Agree0 Disagree0

Definitely rate romeu. should get going under mow.
