Team against shaktar:
Cech
Azpilicueta.Luiz.Terry.Bertrand
Romeu.Lamps
Moses.Marin.Mata
Torres

Team against man u:
Cech
Ivanovic.Luiz.Cahill.Cole
Ramires.Mikel
Mata.Oscar.Hazard
Sturridge

im not joking about sturridge, he is fast, amazing left footer and is selfish, if he had had the chances torres had against spurs he would have scored them, at least one

Believable3 Unbelievable4

I am quite sure he would have scored yes, but i doubt he wil be chosen before Torres im sorry :) I could see him play against shaktar but not Lamp and Bertrand.

Agree3 Disagree1

While the things u say about Sturridge are true I think ur discounting the like up play via the passing ability of Torres with the mazacar trio. I think our counter attack would be better but the build up would suffer and Sturridge needs work on his hold up play ability.

Agree2 Disagree3

Obviously i agree with what you say about the passing and hold up play with torres, but sturridge is selfishly good in a way, hes not afraid to shoot which torres is, and i think if sturridge learned to play with the mazacar trio we would be faster at counter attacking

I dont know if its just me? But I have that same safe feeling, like when Jose was in charge. You just know that your gonna be happy saturday evenings!
I really respect the clubs approach to transfers and the type of football we are looking to play. For me this season is a trial run. Next season we will be f**king amazing.
Yhe talant we have in the team and coming through the ranks is unbelievable!
Bring on the manc mugs.

Just read a rumor stating that a. Madrid are looking to buy chicharito from man u in Jan to replace Falcao. If this is to be believed and it probably isn't then that means we stand a GOOD shot of signing him in Jan. Just imagine if we manage to sign him. We would be the scariest team in Europe without a doubt.

Do not forget PSG/CITY/RMD aswell :)

Agree0 Disagree2

Well of course you have to include the typical suitors as well.

"Villas-Boas now has a real sense of how far this Chelsea team has come since his dismissal. This is without a doubt Roberto Di Matteo's side and they are good - really good".- jack Goodson on we ain't got no history website discussing our game against spurs. Spot on I would say.

mikec

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I know many would disagree but I think RA deserves more credit, the new boys are mainly his signings (this summer before RDM got the contract) and AVB's from last year. I still want to wait till Jan and watch rdm's magmt and sub patterns, I still don't see him preparing cesar, marin or Sturridge who are primary back-UPS in case of injury or ban to key positions as subs. When he brings Sturridge in its at rw and he plays Moses at lw, I'm just not 100% comfortable yet with RDM.

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeah you have a good point but I'm of the opinion that rdm has made it his squad in the way he implements the weapons he is given.

Got a few questions about Josh McEachran.
1) which position is his favored
2) which position does he play at Middlesbrough
3) If he is to get a spot i guess realistically he wil get most games as an defensive midfield cause we have so many options up front.
4) Do you believe he wil be apart of our squad the next seaon as a replacement for Mikel/Romeu/Ramires

Thanks in advance.

1 he's a center mid. 2 I've heard he often plays out wide for Middlesbrough. 3 I agree he'll play deeper considering the talent we have up front. 4 I believe he will replace lampard.

Tk

Agree4 Disagree4

How can people disagree with tk he's got it 100 percent, he's a creative centre mid, he plays wide of a four man midfield for boro, but is allowed to come inside.

Agree2 Disagree3

I honestly think de bruyne is gonna replace lampard. I do like josh, but de bruyne has much more to offer. He can match joshs passing ability, can beat people and has a great shot with both feet. I think he is gonna be world class!

Luke

Agree4 Disagree2

To be honest luke de bruyne is class as a centre mid agree with u all the way, the way i see it both will replace lamps BLUEBOY1

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes Bloyboy1 your right. The 2 of them can make the firdt team. Out of all the youngsters, we all want to see young josh in the first team. I think he does have a role at the club. Just not sure if he can ever really step up to "world class". That is the level that every first team player needs to be at, at a club like Chelsea. We shall see. Hope he can do it.

Luke

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes deffo josh needs to beef up a bit and score a few more. i think if he can do this hell be brilliant. de bruyne is a 2 footed goalscorer. BLUEBOY1

(1)now that MATA has proved to be more creative than HAZARD in the recent past games is it true that Chelsea are considering buying his father who was equally creative during his days in the backroom?
(2)Sergio Ramos yesterday spent the whole day praising Chelsea for their new playing style. does that mean he might be joining Chelsea in the January window?
(3)Busquets was quoted last week speaking over the phone in a loo inquiring about life in London. It later came out that he was talking to Oriel Romeu. Does that link him to Chelsea in anyway?
(4)Romeu is better than Mikel. Right? {Ed061's Note - Absolute quality.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

We will get to know who is better when his playing time comes(January)

Agree2 Disagree0

Valencia is looking to buy Romeu and i really hope Chelsea refuse to do so. But yes i really think he is alot better suited to our game than Mikel is.

ED001 not sure you have seen much of Thibaut Courtois but if you have what do you make of him and how does he compare to De Gea would like your opinion thanks

BLUEBLOOD {Ed001's Note - I take it you had a look at him tonight? He looks the business to be fair, a real quality young keeper. Still needs to work on his getting out for crosses, like most youngsters, but his shot stopping is first class. In that respect he is very similar to De Gea, except he has a bit more authority, though probably not quite as good at shot stopping. I think Cech has already been replaced, because, to me, he looks ready to be Chelsea's number one. There are not many young keepers that have his assurance, they are normally rash and prone to errors of judgement. I have been really impressed with him, really impressed. Him, De Gea and ter Stegen look to be the 3 best young keepers in the world. Hard to compare them properly, they all play in such different leagues and face different challenges because of that. Courtois does seem a bit more suited to the English game, more able to cope with the physical side of the game than De Gea.}
