Torres has pretty much only scored against very, very poor defenders and looks next to invisible on the pitch against good ones. I still think he has very far to go and should sell him as soon we get the chance, he is not even playing very good and getting 170k a week for it .... dont make the few amount of goals foll you he has insane support in rest of the team, Lukaku would have scored over 15 goals more than him already.

I saw the under 19's last night and at 16 albeit nearly 17 Loftus-cheek looks to be the real deal. He seemed to have more time than anyone else and moved the ball forward quickly and accurately, hardly put a foot wrong and is a big lad. My opinion the one to watch..

He looks a little on the small side but bundles of pace. A bit like the little guy we had in the youths a couple of years ago, forget his name I think he was Latvian. I think he may start as a winger until he develops at senior level and then we will see.
Think the lad's name was Miroslav Stoch.

No name, while it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people on here (mainly anonymous posters) were unemployed or yet to be the appropriate age to attend school, some of us have jobs or schooling commitments, so a match played at 10.30am in the UK is unwatchable. I do appreciate that you're just being a complete knob though.

Well brucie if they are unemployed they would be at home to watch it ,though they would rather buy a packet of smokes for £6,when you say, yet to be the appropiate age to attend school do yo mean up to the age of 4, as in this country they start at 5,so they would be at home with a parent(s)or minder,though i do think they would be a tad young myself,so as a word of advise get your facts right before bestowing your knowledge upon us in the future if its not to much trouble.

Robbie savage has come out and said Mikel could learn a lot from Luiz in midfield............He said "Im not really sure what mikel does". DJ
Mikel played well DJ. One or two misplaced passed but all in all move the ball forward well, broke up play, and was very strong on the ball.

Mikel did the simple things he was supposed to do. Maybe a couple misplaced passes, but who did not give away the ball? Azpi had a horrible game and nobody's said a thing abt him. Lampard didn't bring anything to the game, leaving too much space hence we conceded. Torres scored a deflected goal but wasn't superb. In the end, it's the team and it wasn't a bad game. Even when we win and he has an ok game, we won't stay off Mikel's back.

Last few games when Coles played he just hasn't looked same player
But great play for goal thou by cole and Oscar
He definately has lost a yard of pace, but I think he has been far better in this game than he had been over the past month. This Corona kid looks a real talent, and is ripping Azpillicueta too bits. Far less impressed with Azpillicueta than Cole.

I hope after me especially and lots other people banging on about it that Luiz shines in midfield, I can see him bursting forward long shots and solid tackling,, just hope it doesn't go to his head and he defends as much as he should

He played quite well the first 20min in 1st half and then then he sucked the rest of. 2nd half he did quite fine aswell so overall he did okay, but you have to remember the opponent was piss easy noobs tho.
Watched the game and Luiz did well in possession but let people run off him a little. Did not seem to track any runs and was slow to react. Maybe the Cahill and Ivan were talking to him and letting him pass people on, I hope so anyway. We will see against better opposition with midfielders who like to bomb on.

We should not just be throwing players names around, especially players you have not even seen a clip of. We should suggest potentials for weak positions putting into cognizance- skills, stamina, speed, height, temperament, cost etc. Chelsea scouts probbably read these sites. Take a look at our midfielders/attackers- oscar, mata, hazard, moses, marin ectc though very skillfull yet short, that is why we can't score from corner ,kicks and can't win up balls and we get muscled out most times. Lampard, makelele, robben, ballack, drogba, anelka etc have all got across average of these parameters. It also aids defence. Though l've not seen José Paulo Bezerra Maciel Júnior(Paulinho)'s clip, will do in the club world cup, only read his profile, l think we need his height and mental alertness. And we don't necessarily need falcao, we a strikers that are not above 25 in cost and age, how did we scout drogba? How did Man U. scout for c. ronaldo ? Who were they when they were bought, and how did they turn out? Our tecnical crews and scouting networks are not doing their jobs comparatively. Ponder on these FANS!

Firstly I don't think the scouts read the page mate. Secondly Luiz, Cahill and Ivan have 12 goals between them this year, and I would argue half have come from corners or dead ball situations. Thirdly I think our scouting networks are doing a tremendous job. In the past 3 years we have seen Ramires, Luiz, Cahill, Moses, Marin, KDB, Lukaku, Piazon, Oscar, Hazard, Azpillicueta get brought to the club. Of these only Marin and Hazard could be considered top drawer players when we picked them up (Cahill and Moses were obviously well known to those that follow the EPL) and the rest did not yet have a big name. Since then Luiz, Rami, KDB, Azpillicueta and Moses have exploded on the scene IMO. Although some of these players commanded a large transfer fee, they were gambles, you couldn't be sure they would cope in England. Also Courtois who I forgot is absolutely world class.
Then you look at the youth scouted to the academy Feruz, Ake, Musonda brothers, Christensen, Bamford, Thorgan Hazard, Kalas, Chabolah... You are well and truly misinformed mate. IMO the scouts are doing amazing, especially in bringing top draw youth to the club.
