Ed who would you rather have playing for chelsea Sneijder or Pastore....I think Sneijder would do better he has proven him self one of the best Attacking Midfielders in the sport at the moment or we could pay more money for someone that has less experience and hasn't even proven himself...i personally think it is an easy choice just to get Wesley but chelsea have a history of making bad decisions {Ed001's Note - on a purely playing level Sneijder, but Pastore would be on a much much lower wage and have a sell on value if he didn't work out. So I can understand the attraction.}

hello ed. Pls i will like you to clarify somethings for me. Why the interest in pastore, hamsik, pjanic e.t.c if we really believe new signing lucas piazon is one for the future. Why waste money when we have our own youth. In addition to piazon, we've got jacob mellis, connor clifford and mceachran who are all good AM and are btw the ages of 18_ 20 years. Pastore is only 21 and costs 44 mill already just because he was given a chance. Lets also give ours a chance or what do you think e.d? {Ed001's Note - I am with you there, I love to see kids progress from the youth team and be given a chance for the first team. I hate to see players bought and blocking their progress. McEachran has shown he is good enough for the first team, it would be nice to see a few more given the chance to prove themselves too.}

Well, I am afraid that we wont sign any of these names finally. The only one that I see for sure wearing Chelsea's colours is Lukaku, but he is still young and he will be on loan for next season.
We need desesperately some creative midfielders and some attacking midfielders with good dribling skills. Pastore would be incredible, but I think he will preffer to move up to real madrid. Hazard would be awesome, also tony kroos.
As play makers we should go for sneijder or hamsik, even montolivo... but I doubt it.

Hey Ed, long time no see!

This may seem stupid, but I was just wondering about a comment you made just before you left, and you said Chelsea's long-term future aim to create a whole team of home-grown brazilians...is this true? or were you being sarcastic? Thanks {Ed002's Note - I was being sarcastic.}

Hi Ed, u say Jeff Bruma has gone?? I havent heard anything? i was hoping of good things from him! please shed some light? {Ed001's Note - the accounting year for Chelsea ends on the 30th of June, if I am correct. So incomings will try and be completed before then, if possible, to keep them from being included in the new FFP rulings. Outgoings will be completed after that date so that they are included in the FFP reckoning. It is just clever accounting.}

A Kalou and Malouda free roster - I like it!

I wager that Sturridge won't want to stay with us if he isn't starting.

Agree8 Disagree1

Why isn't Ivanovic in the team sheet? Been one the best players in the past 2 seasons. MUG.

Ed, Chelsea dont think that if they just sign one top class creative midfielder (Sneijder) that all our creative difficulty is going to dissappear do they? We cant afford to rely on just one mid pulling all the creative strings we need atleast 2! Either Modric or Nasri aswell as Sneijder. Dont you agree?? {Ed001's Note - it depends on the system used, if there is width and pace around him to create space one can be enough.}
