Massive win today. I think the best part is we can play a lot better than that. Kovacic and Jorginho were quite quiet and we could’ve scored 3 or 4. Defence very solid and James and Lukaku will get the headlines but thought Dave was excellent. If this was us not at our best and we won 2-0 at the emirates I think we can really challenge city this season. COYB.

The only thing I wish with Kovacic, is that he could actually shoot.

The amount of times the ball falls to him in great positions just outside the box and he shanks it miles high or wide is so frustrating. Other than that I thinks he's a very good and tidy player!

I agree and I think the same goes for Jorginho. Neither of them will shoot on the edge of the box, same goes for Kante too. 3 tremendous players though and you’d think we won’t have to rely on them for goals this season especially now Lukaku is in.

Think that would be a great singing Ed, would bring more attacking threat and allow that bit more rotation of the key midfielders.

{Ed0666's Note - yep the lovely folk on the Liverpool site and eds 001 have a real hard on for him. I have to be honest I’ve not seen him play that much (handful of games) but from what I’ve seen he’s certainly a baller and would revolutionize you’re midfield. Him and Kante would be fire 🔥. Now that is a premiership winning central midfield. I’m hoping he likes a bowl of scours on winter nights and an ex city of culture as he’d do wonders for our midfield also!

Kova can’t shoot nor can Jorginho and Mount is pretty poor too. All of them should be fined for poor shots- oh and Rudiger too- it drives me mad.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the ball fall to kovecic and thought. “ this is going in “ or even on target, what is it, 2 goals in 3 years? It’s not ideally his job but title winning teams have goals across the pitch, I’d take Saul on loan, although I saw he played left back / wing back today? Strange.

Haha ed, him and Kante would be unreal. Quietly confident now about our chances for the title anyway but adding another quality midfielder and hopefully Kounde, I think we’d be serious serious challengers on all fronts.
