I have a question for the fans on here?

Based on this season's performances, if we never had these players, how would you feel if the club actively pursued the following players this summer based on what we've seen of them?

This is not criticism show, but just wanted to know what the feeling is about our academy players so far. Thanks

Not sure about CHO, if attitude is as bad as they say then we should of sold him to Bayern. He has a lot of talent, but since he's been in the first team I haven't seen him really use that talent against anyone except league cup teams or poor Europa League matches. Yeah he's been injured and I understand that, but he wasn't exactly lighting up the pitch beforehand.

Abraham - Just not good enough. And if he does get a chance in front of goal, he'll need another 9 chances before he hits the back of the net. He's just not clinical enough and his all round game is so poor.

Christensen - Weak, always looks like a feather could blow him over and his defensive awareness is terrible in his own box.

Tomori - The one I'd like to see more of, Tomori hasn't been brilliant defensively but he's been no worse than our other CB's. Plus Tomori has the pace to recover his errors.

Mount - Probably been the best of our youngsters, although I'm not really sure what his best position is. He started the season really well and has struggled for consistency since. But you see glimpses of a very good player in Mount, plus he presses teams high up the pitch

James - Still not 100% convinced with James, defensively he just doesn't seem very aware at times. Going forward he has a great cross and shot. I just don't feel like he tries hard enough sometimes.

Hudson Odoi - I know he came back from that bad injury, but he just doesn't look good enough. Needs to get his head down and work and find something, otherwise I don't see a future for him at Chelsea.

I don't know if id be overly excited about any of the transfers. I wouldn't mind Mount, Reece and Tomori. So I agree with you.

They all have a lot of work to do if they want to make the Chelsea grade.

I think Lampard has worked miracles with a squad consisting of youngsters such as Abraham, Mount, Reece James, Christensen, Tomori and Odoi.

Abraham - Not good enough. Sell

Christensen - Just an absolute fairy who gets battered against any half decent sized attacker and has zero concentration whatsoever. No grit or aggression in him whatsoever. Sell.

Mount - Big fan. Much better as an 8 and heâ€™s getting better ball playing wise. Thing is with Mount even when heâ€™s not pulling it off he still contributes and presses.

James - Ropey form right now but for me a class player. Still needs to lose a few more pounds to make him more agile but I love Reece.

Hudson-Odoi - Unsure if his attitude is good enough.

Tomori - Miss his aggression heâ€™s unbeatable 1v1 just needs ironing out the kinks but that comes with age. Canâ€™t wait till heâ€™s back.

Gilmour - Very good first season think he could be a big star.

Well Shak to be honest I wouldnâ€™t be too pleased with any, Iâ€™d feel the club is settling for less (Following your hypothetical question), I guess the fact they are ours from the academy they do get pampered a bit. In all sincerity which one of them would get into any of the top sides? None, I thought James would be a world beater but Iâ€™m not too sure about him defensively maybe with better defenders and guidance he could improve.

That said I donâ€™t mind Mount, Tomori, CHO and Tammy but strictly as squad players. No way should Mount be starting 90% of our games nor should Tammy. Squad players for now at best.

* Mount stands out (heâ€™s very good), best of the lot for me.
* Reece is ok but needs to improve more on his defensive side; his attacking side is very good
* Tomori is ok cos but has to work more to improve (though central defenders rarely peak at the age) .
* Callum Hudson Odoi should be sold and replaced with Sancho- if thatâ€™s possible.
* Abraham should be sold and replaced with Victor Osimhen before Napoli takes him.
* Christensen has nothing to prove anymore that we havenâ€™t seen or known, so I think he should be sold too and replaced. Heâ€™s mentally fragile and physically weak.

Some brilliant replies there guys. I think most of us are pulling in the same direction with the players that have come through from the academy.

I think ELI your âœ…, they do get pampered especially because we are desperate to produce a talent from the academy and that is affecting views of many. If they weren't our players then I don't think the club would pursue any of them. Do they get into Liverpool, Man City etc?

Obinna I think the player you mention is twice or three times the player Abraham is. I would love Osimhen.
