Hi Ed002, I hope you're well and enjoying a lull in the hassle of transfer info request from the various rumour pages!

I wondered if you'd be willing to offer your opinion on how you think Chelsea are shaping up to challenge for titles in what looks like a new "era" in terms of squad age and relative competitiveness around them?

The transfer ban, the consolidation of loanees and squad players, the introduction of a young coach and extensive support network - it feels like exciting times to be a fan of the club, especially if they plan to supplement what's achieved this season with a couple of top class additions.

What are your thoughts?

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea were always going to integrate two or three of the youngsters in the squad this season - although one was to be moved on he has been taken in to the first team fold as well. The club has a couple of advisors on hand to help the coach which will help, and the club has a couple of players still out injured and Rudiger and Willian ony just getting back to the point they will be able to play regularly. I expect that they will be fine. One or two players will also leave still this summer as the squad takes shape.}

Thank you ed002 I know due to relative inexpierence of the team it might be difficult this season but the team will be exciting going forward. I will always back them. Sometimes you take your leg off the throttle to rejig. Yesterday in Istanbul was a good sign.

Can I ask about the chelsea punishment and the Man City punishment with signing of u18’s, is it seen as bit of an outrage what we got compared to them. are chelsea angry about it like reported or is it in fact completely different and a fair punishment regarding both teams,

Oh right ok, more click bait I’ve fallen fo. Though I saw on sky how chelsea were following the situation as the punishment we received compared to them for the same breaches in signing u18 yo, with the difference that they admitted and complied with fifa investigating. Hope your well ed. What part of the world are you this month.
