I think it has been evident to see that the players are putting in the effort for Jose in the last few games it's just been a combination of decisions and luck going against us plus some individual mistakes through loss of form and confidence. Yes, I agree that we struggling because we didn't get our targets in the Summer, namely Stones, Pogba and Griezmann. ( can you imagine where we would be now if they had joined ) . The press and pundits are now having a field day calling it a 'crisis', 'Lost the dressing room', 'Eva the doc', '3rd season syndrome' etc etc. Other clubs fans are enjoying it as well. However, the fact of the matter is that we must be patient and wait for things to turn around and I highlighted earlier the performances in our last few games are showing signs of recovery. I hope Roman and the board continue to back Jose and come January we can strengthen and see where we finish in May. Changing one of the best managers in world football is not the answer. Supporting him and the team is just like the 4,000 or so who were at Stoke did. Onwards and upwards.

If you're looking for a new manager to come in, have an impact, and win you silverwear in their first two years then Jose is the best - no doubt about that.

Is he the best when you're struggling for results with low confidence? No one really knows, he has never been in a management situation like he finds himself in right now; fact is he isn't dealing with it very well and the results speak for themselves.

Personally I don't think he is the right man for the club right now, and is being saved by a lack of available managers plus the massive amounts of money the club will have to pay him out if they sack him.

Respect your opinion but totally disagree with you J. We are only 10 league games into a new season! The man just won us our first title since 2010 and as I reasoned in my post needs time to turn things around. At least give him until May ffs.

I can't believe some people think he's not the best man for the job. We were all pleased he came back to the club and he duly delivered the title. We've hit a rough patch but I'm sure he will get us out of it, if he's given the chance.

I genuinely hope you guys are right, he turns things around and is at the club for many successful years to come.

Results, performances, and probably his attitude over the coming weeks, will decide that though.

Fans with very short memories asking for Jose to go. Best manager we've ever had, and we was all over the moon when he game back. 10 league games after winning is the title and you'd think Jose had rocked up to a game in a Sphurs shirt or something. He is the most successful manager in modern football and he is our manager. Cut the guy some slack and support him like real fans should!

I support the club not a single figure with the club, if I think the manager is having an adverse effect on the club then I'll speak out about it. Being the best manager in the club's history, or modern history, has no impact on current results, right now is what matters; and right now things are looking seriously wrong.

10 games since last season and how many defeats? That's not right. The negative fanfare that's followed the club since the first game of the season, that's not right. So many top class players under performing, that's not right. This shouldn't all land at Mourinho's feet but, the way modern football is, if results and the generaly poor PR around the club don't improve he will go. That's not a personal opinion against the guy; it's a footballing fact.

I've read all of the above, all of us would be happy for Jose to drag us back up the league, and carry on from last season.
But a lot of us would like him to do this in a less brash turn the world against us way. The problem is he is creating the he's lost it, the team are against him, comments by his actions. Why not keep his mouth shut, head down and just work through this blip. Then let actions speak louder than words, then when we are back let them have both barrels for doubting him. This is my opinion.

Just thought I'd point out that we are only 2 points off of united's tally at this stage last year and they finished 4th by 6 points. This is hardly the end of the world or the huge crisis that the media would have us believe.

I think Jose let's himself down terrible with the blame game the world is against Chelsea etc we have gotten away with some big calls this season also most notably Southampton he was complaining we should have had a Pena yet mane clearly got taken out an didn't get 1 either I'd like to see him more happy and back to his best he's causing terrible press for himself and they are jumping all over it crisis this an crisis that. yes it is a bit of a crisis because he doesn't seem to no how to handle it all at the moment but I'm sure if we give him til Xmas get him who he wants he will improve and we will bounce back sacking him may only be the option if he's lost the dressing room but so far that doesn't seem to be true just the press stirring things up an plus who else is left to get he's the best in the buisness.
