I'm not surprised by yesterdays result, I expected to loose and I expected to loose well. I delayed postying a took a deep breath - which ultimately only made my conspiracy theories grow, and grow.

Terry coming off at half time is the second time this season that I think Mourinho has made, what I'd describe as, statement substitutions. Against Swansea we saw Zouma come on into the midfield so that we could lump balls up to him - a statement that we had little other options to change the game offensively, none that would be effective anyway. Terry coming off at halftime yesterday made the clear statement that our defence is lacking pace, but why would you remove a defender who has been one of the BPL's best whilst never having any pace? Ivanovic and Cahill were awful yesterday too but subbing your Captain, Leader, Legend makes a much bigger statement.

When you add these substitutions to Mourinho's 'moral obligation to buy' statement it is clear that he wants new additions to the squad and isn't happy with the club for not acting faster - especially when you look at the players we've sold and the money we've made from said sales.

Problem is I think we have some sort of agreement with Everton to sign Stones next summer. Mourinho gave another interview recently, explaining our lack of summer transfer activity, where he described how we needed a new striker the year before we signed Costa, but knew we had agreed to buy Costa the next summer. I got the impression a similar deal had been made this summer and it makes sense that this would be for Stones. Greizmann has also signed a new deal at Atletico making his buy out clause astronomical.

If we are going to sign anyone it's a concern that we are leaving these deals to the last minuet, we all know what happens (Cuadrado) when we do that.

My guess would be that Jose was talking about Pogba or Griesmann next summer not Stones.

Will Chelsea be as attractive next summer?

I can confirm that there is no agreement with Everton mate, 2 offers rejected and your 3rd will be rejected by Friday, it would take a world record for a defender to make Everton even consider selling especially after the statements of "we are not selling him" that have been made.

I'd imagine a British record offer would be considered, but I also commented recently, on here, that staying at Everton must be an attractive proposal for the club to sell to Stones right now. When he does eventually leave, now or in a year or two it inevitably will happen, I just hope he doesn't end up in Manchester.

He will definitely go J, us Everton fans are 100% certain of that mate, as we all know money talks but ye know what not one Everton fan would begrudge the kid a top club as he has not once moaned/rocked the boat or as us Blues like to call it "pulled a Sterling"

He is going to be the next JT, not that I mean he will be coming to you guys as City and Utd both interested, I mean a CB legend for English Football for both club and country, I only wish we had the money to keep him.

Im pretty sure that after us stating he is not for sale then it would take something mighty like 45 million to get us to listen now, he will be at Everton until next season then that will be a starting price, honest mate he is that good and that's not just because I am biased

Good luck this season guys, I won't say anything about yesterdays match lol
