I have a feeling that after selling Mata next leaving player in summer will be Hazard for 80m£. Transfers will generate 120m£+30-35m£ for Luiz . It's obvious Chelsea has to sell to buy.

1st time poster here, have read these pages a lot though and I must say that ness you are wayyy over the top lad, everything is over exaggerated with you, I agree that mata being sold is a shame but he doesn't play the style of football mourinho wants, at the end of the day it's the team that matters not one player, not only that mourinho is the best manager in the world and if he says mata goes then I'm afraid we all have to trust him on this saying as we are not managers ourselves. FIFA doesn't count

Just for the sake of humouring myself, Ness, who the hell are we buying, after selling Mata, luiz and of all people Hazard, that will improve the team?

Im honestly perplexed with your thought process. We have Courtois so won't be buying a keeper. Have Lukaku coming back, so will probably only need one striker. Matic was just bought so little need to strengthen the middle of the park. Obviously with you selling all our attacking mids, a position once considered stacked with become weak, for the sole purpose of sh*ts and giggles I guess. So £120m to spend on a striker, cb and two attacking mids that will not be as good as the ones we have just sold.

So we obviously need to sell, in order to spend money on making us worse? Or do you think Emanulo and co enjoy the rebuilding process so much, they intend to deconstruct what they've constructed in order to construct something again, which in turn will be deconstructed so that something new can once again be reconstructed all for the hell of it?

I only said I have a feeling that all those transfers might happen. Not necessary it's going to be like that. Selling Mata to Man.utd makes sense only if Chelsea gets first option to buy Rooney.

Ed002 has said so many times that Chelsea do not stand in the way of a player if they ask to leave and a reasonable offer is made, no one including the ed's are going to know if Mata has said anything or not he hasn't played much in a world cup year so it is at least plausible, however it doesn't make much sense to sell to Man U has I am sure there are other teams across Europe who would also relish his signature only way I see Man U getting him is with Rooney being someway involved.Which I think we would all be more then happy with.

Well, when I suggested that Mata might be sold last summer same people jumped on me as well as they do now, look what's happening now. Do you really think it's easy to ignore 97m€ bid.?

No ness, you actually didn't just say you had a feeling. You wrongly said its obvious we need to sell to buy. That is hugely different from saying its hard to turn down £97m (it was £80m only last night.)

When you suggested Mata might be sold in the summer (moreso if you did, which I wholeheartedly doubt) you were right to have people jump down your throat. Suggesting we sold our best player from the previous two years showed you to be a clueless prat. I can also wholeheartedly say you wouldn't of backed it up with the fact he isn't a Jose no.10, purely because your lack of understanding of the game, shown numerous times on here.

In future mate, read what you type before you post it, because you have a tendency to cry that people misunderstand you, when the stuff you post generally is black and white, and far from accurate.

Melbourne you mixed currency. 80m pounds is 97m euros. Bale transfer was 100m euros.
During August it was obvious Mata is not JM type of player + Chelsea signed Willian, it is not really hard to put 2+2.
WHAT I AM SURE ABOUT IS THAT JOSE MOURINHO AND ROMAN ABRAMOVICH KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. ALSO MOURINHO IS VERY INSISTENT PERSON AND DOESN'T GIVE UP HIS TARGETS AND OBJECTIVES EASILY. THESE GUYS ARE SERIOUS PLAYERS.

We practically just cashed 60m pounds after selling DeBruyne&Mata. For now we have spent 21m £ on Matic.

Mourinho was talking about FFP few days a go. From what he said it's hard to believe that we are going to spend 60-70m on striker or another AM.
