Thank you and good luck to RLC! I think being too versatile went against him, and that ACL injury in a pointless friendly. Will be following him in Italy,

Matt, yep good luck Ruben.

I will always wonder what might have been with that horrible injury. Anyway, I think he will do well in Italy.

With some strong performances he may even get back into the England team.

Agree guys re his injury timing and his ability, and willingness to play any position to get a start and help the team. Despite playing at CB RB and RWB, totally foreign positions for him, never once complained. I think he'll be a brute in Italy, and less physicality will prolong his career with the niggles he has. Thanks for your service and Good Luck.

Yes all the best to Ruben in Italy and thanks for some wonderful moments if especially before that dreadful ACL injury. All credit to RLC for coming back from that and he could yet reach the pinnacles again.

Hear, hear. Though it should be noted that just because RLC did suffer that horrific injury, I don't think we should be looking at his time with melancholy. Yes, it clearly did prevent him from developing into what looked to be a game-changing talent, but RLC is still an excellent midfielder and a credit to the club and academy.

I think it’s for the best for him to move on: he still has many years ahead of him. Well done to him for having made the brave decision to move to Italy. I hope he enjoys the lifestyle.
