If we signed Lavezzi, then hazard could play as out number 10 and Oscar can drop next to matic in midefield, add falcao or costa,, most likely costa and a LB and we will be really pushing on all fronts next year, was wondering if we are still interested in falcao after his injury? Closest player to aguero/Suarez IMO,

{Ed002's Note - Less so in Falcao right now but fundamentally nothing has changed.}

Ok, always big risk with player after big injury. Gutted his playing infront of 8000 odd people for Monaco, cheers for quick response

{Ed002's Note - It is a nice stadium though. I skipped a cup quarter final there three weeks ago to drink cocktails with my wife instead.}

Ed sorry if this has been covered already couldn't find it in the search bar but you said representatives of Lavezzi approached Chelsea would you be able to elaborate on that a little more if possible for instance was the approach made recently with a view of a possible transfer this summer and were the club interested? if ya can't say that's cool keep up the good work we all appreciate it

{Ed002's Note - There is nothing further to say.}

Not going to happen, Oscar would be wasted in a deeper role, he offers very little defensively and wouldn't be able to utilise his creativity and finishing skills to full effect. In my opinion our midfield is fine.

5.) 21 Apr 2014
We could always rely on van ginkel to partner matic in midfield and luiz can be backup

6.) 22 Apr 2014
Luiz to partner matic is my preference as he is decent defensively and is always looking forward not back. Good partnership in my eyes. Oscar is better suited further forward.

I think van Ginkel will ultimately be Matic's partner, he has showed a lot of potential in the games I've seen so far.
