Liam Rosenior will be our new head coach and replaces Enzo Maresca who was often criticised for his substitutions and squad management when it is coming to light that he was only following orders from the medical team to protect players returning from injury. I think the term "The grass is not always greener" may come into play here but no doubt everyone who wanted Maresca out will be happy. We will likely tread water now until this very talented group of players being assembled come to fruition.

Jimbo posted recently about us having 7 or 8 core players in place so hopefully adding a few more pieces to the puzzle will take us back to the top table but I'm not holding my breath! also, will Chilly come back as well as Rosenoir likes wing backs in his 3-4-2-1 system which worked so well under Conte. The thought of Palmer and Estevao as the two 10's in that system with Reece and Cucu as wing backs could be very decent to watch.

Weirdly I heard the opposite that he always went against the medical side and played players when he shouldn't have or played them for longer than they should have.

RBD, another post of yours that I have enjoyed but I personally hope you are wrong about Rosenior being appointed as our next coach.

Me too Tom but I fear RPD is correct with the impending appointment.

Ro be honest, if the medical department, analysts, SD's are in charge of team selection and tactics, it won't matter who is brought in.

Bill, the SD’a are not responsible for team selection or tactics.

As I was told and posted weeks ago, questions were asked about injured players. A question was asked about one player by the SD’s and he referred that question to the medical department.

If what I was told is roughly true, I would have thought the conversation should have stayed behind closed doors.
