Cole Palmer could be a target . apparently 35mill rejected.

Great player super left foot and very unlucky not to start for City.

Agree wheely would be a great signing goes past people for fun. Still think we require a forward.

Don't really understand Chelsea transfers. Kudus was ready but we never looked his way. But want to spend almost 50 million on palmer who's not ready to play for a big team yet. imo Kudus would have been a better fit for Chelsea at the moment.
We should try to get experienced players now enough of the obsession for younger players. We already have plenty to serve for years but need a blend of experience and youth talent. Lack of tactics will make imus look stupid in the short term. Palmer is a good player but not what we need now.

Left sided. Not looking good for mudryk.

Whenever Iv seen him he’s played on the right, cutting in with his left.

Maybe but I’m sure he’s played on the left for city.

Pretty sure he plays on the right mostly. Was expecting more game time when mahrez left, then with doku signing he wants out.

He plays RW / AM loves to cut in. I don't get everyones concerns

To be an competitive team you need two players in each position.

RW - NONI / PALMER
LW - STERLING / MUDRYK

AM - CARNEY / NKUNKU

Plus with our injuries issues it's only a plus.

I think he has been so unlucky under Pep. he's been quality every game I have seen him .

The lad looks class and I’m astonished that City would be prepared to let him leave.

He and Noni on occasions have played well enough together for England.

He is class and can play in more than one position.

I think a note of caution needed on Cole Palmer as with many young promising players. He did look v good and scored in UEFA super Cup and Community Shield but those are the only two times I've really noticed him. In Ed001's recent post when asked to comment on CP said he can be wasteful.

My son (who probably looks these things up on line) tells me CP has only scored a total of 4 goals in 36 appearances for City in all competitions, though often as sub. So he must rank as something of a gamble and quite an expensive one. Plus a tad worrying that City didn't try too hard to keep him, though that could be countered by fact that they put high price tag on him (but who doesn't do that when they see CFC coming? ) .

Yet if he's coming we will all get behind the lad and trust that Poch can develop him into something special. He certainly showed glimpses of that potential in those two recent games he scored in, and one was at Wembley and the other the UEFA super cup. Here's hoping. We really do need more goal threat up front.

JBS, I’m not making any judgments on Palmer as a player but it is a bit of a strange move. I understand paying circa £15 million for young players for the future but if you are paying £40 million you would be expect something close to the finished article who will get plenty of game time. I would have preferred to look for a player with goals in him. Also, adding another inexperienced player is a risk. City have brought in Kova and the Wolves midfielder who have both got plenty of games between them.

Like a lot of players last season Kovacic had a stinker.

He is a player that can break the lines but his product wasn’t brilliant and his goals to game ratio for a midfielder was frankly appalling.

Nunez could be a good addition to the City squad.
