Thanks for bringing me into your discussion gola and CFC. The reason I put a positive spin on things is due to seeing the bigger picture. As I have mentioned before Chelsea is in pretty good shape both on and off the pitch with lots of recent success and that will continue. I don't buy in to all the rumours about Crouch etc and prefer to wait for the club to announce signings like Ross B, who might prove to be a sensational piece of business. Sadly the only person who could give accurate information was ED02 and when that happened the mood on here was more positive as it gave genuine fans hope of what might be. The BS on twitter and papers like the daily mail just seem to fuel negativity. I do agree Conte seems to have issues with the board and also the board with him and that might be affecting performances but equally it could be fatigue as he only seems to play the same 14 or 15 players. Time will tell. As for spending huge amounts on players like Sanchez even Man City bulked at that! Also, do we know who shall come in? May still be a good window yet, and as I say RB might just be a little gem. Anyway, We all want the best for our club and whether you can put a positive spin on it or not let's agree to disagree and hope we make top 4 and win a cup this season. Best wishes.

I can see your reasoning behind putting on the positive spin. Top 4 is priority.

However I do fail to see the bigger picture and i feel we are being left behind and maybe because wr are not financially as strong as the others.

It looks like we are losing a brilliant manager soon and mainly due to our inability to compete in the transfer market. We always take 1 step forward and for some reason take a few backwards but that's my opinion. Tbh, if Conte does leave then it would be interesting times at Chelsea. To compete with the Money (Man Utd/ Man City) is always very hard and for starters you need a proven manager which Conte proved last year. I think the days of signing proven quality players are long gone. We can't afford the Dybala's, Icardi's, Neymar's, etc etc. Its more or less looking for average players hoping they excel.
