Just a question for you,
as Liverpool declared officially that they are no longer intrested in Virgil Van dijk.
It means as of only chelsea and man city are interested in signing him.

So do you think we have really good chance of signing him?

Also if the price quoted by saints is too high, will CFC look for alternatives like- rudiger, manolas, bonnuci, de vrij etc?

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea have already stepped back from any deal due to the asking price. The club will buy a centre back and will take one back from loan. A couple will also leave in addition to Terry.}

Ed, could you let us know if anything has changed regarding Bonucci and Chelsea apart from continued interest?

Stefan De Vrij - Chelsea are concerned by his injury history.
Alessio Romagnoli - first choice after the time wasted on Kalidou Koulibaly during the summer but will be difficult to bring him in and the club have moved on for now.
Leonardo Bonucci - might well be too expensive even if he could be persuaded to move and Juventus are prepared to sell.
Aymeric Laporte - interest has gone and he will be heading elsewhere.
Kostas Manolas - interest has gone completely.
Ruben Samedo - looked at CB cover but won't happen and heading elsewhere.
Presnel Kimpembe – talks held earlier in the season but nothing will happen.
Boubacar Kamara - perhaps one for the future - plenty of interest but still very young and during discussions recently Marseille said he will sign a pro contract with them.
Ben Gibson - has the advantage of being home grown but Chelsea's HG issues have eased and his value for money is not seen by some at the club so nothing will happen.
Michael Keane - home grown is a bonus but likely to be priced out of a move to Chelsea.
Doria - Marseille are still keen to move him on but I think all interest in having him as cover at Chelsea has long gone.
Antonio Rudiger - Roma would be open to an exchange involving Fabregas but the player wants a move to Inter and will likely get it.
Virgil van Dijk - has been looked and is considered by Chelsea to be overpriced - however Southampton has told Chelsea that van Dijk is not for sale.
Davinson Sanchez - is being pushed by an advisor to Chelsea.}

I'm wondering regarding Davinson Sanchez, Ed. Is he being pushed by one of his own advisors, or is it an advisor of Chelsea that is pushing the club to move for him?

Ah okay, thanks for that, Ed. I misinterpreted and thought he was being pushed to Chelsea by an advisor. So it means he's being pushed as a CB option for Chelsea by an advisor. Thanks for clearing that up :-)
